RandomAreaSpawn
Java mod listed for Minecraft 26.x. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
⬇ Download on ModrinthThis plugin replaces Minecraft's default spawn with a completely random one (no safe spawns). Open source.
And yes, while Minecraft has a vanilla configurable spawn radius, it tends to act kind of weird, as players may spawn in the same spot they spawned before.
With this plugin, whenever a player joins the server for the first time, or dies without a bed or respawn anchor, they get dropped at a random spot within a configurable radius around the world origin.
Players that have a bed or a respawn anchor still respawn like normal, so the plugin only affects first joins and deaths without a set spawn.
Made for anarchy servers (or any server) that want a harder start.
Configuration
There's only one setting in the config.yml:
- spawn-radius: 100
Restart the server after changing it.
