ABOUT RITUAL

Ritual is a Minecraft Paper plugin that transforms ordinary SMP events into cinematic battles.

Summon a massive animated Sculk Shrieker altar, place a valuable reward at its center, and challenge players to protect or destroy the ritual before the countdown ends.

Protect the ritual and claim the reward. Destroy its core and the reward is lost forever.

HOW IT WORKS

1. START THE RITUAL

Hold the reward item in your main hand and execute:

The plugin captures the item and begins the summoning animation.

2. THE ALTAR AWAKENS

A giant Sculk Shrieker rises from the ground, surrounded by animated pillars and Sculk energy.

3. THE BATTLE BEGINS

Players fight around the ritual while the countdown continues. The core has 1000 HP.

4. THE FINAL OUTCOME

RITUAL COMPLETED

If the countdown reaches zero, the ritual completes and releases the reward.

RITUAL DESTROYED

If the core reaches zero HP, the ritual collapses and the reward is permanently lost.

REQUIREMENTS

Minecraft: 1.21.11
Server Software: Paper
Java: Compatible with your Paper build
Client Mods: Not required
Resource Pack: Required to display custom altar models

INSTALLATION

1. Download the Ritual plugin JAR.
   
   
2. Place the JAR in your server's plugins folder.
   
   
3. Restart your Paper server.
   
   
4. Install or configure the included resource pack.
   
   
5. Hold an item and run /ritual start.
   
   
6. Enjoy your cinematic SMP event.

RESOURCE PACK

Ritual includes a resource pack containing its custom 3D altar models.

The pack uses vanilla-inspired Sculk textures and does not require Forge or Fabric.

Players must enable the resource pack to see the custom altar correctly.
