Husky Guard (Anti Cheat)

HuskyGuard

An anti-cheat and admin toolkit for Purpur / Paper 26.2 by Husky Forge. It spots cheat clients, movement and combat cheats, illegal items and griefing exploits, and gives staff a live inventory inspector, full chat and command logging, and a few handy build tools.

It reports by default and does not punish. Set alert-only: false in the config when you want it to also set cheaters back and cancel their hits.

Highlights

Client detection

• Reads each player's client brand a moment after they join and matches it against the list in config.yml.
• Each client is tagged HACK, CLIENT, MODDED, VANILLA or UNKNOWN, and you choose which types alert staff.
• Ships with 170+ hack clients already on the list, including Meteor, Wurst, Aristois, LiquidBounce, RusherHack, ThunderHack, Future, Impact, BleachHack, Sigma, Vape and many more. Names match with spaces, dashes and dots ignored.
• A hack client that hides behind a plain "fabric" or "vanilla" brand can still be caught when it registers a channel under its own name.
• Add or edit clients in config.yml; the first match wins.

Combat checks

• Reach, angle, hits through walls, multi-target hits and click speed (CPS).
• One-tap mace: catches absurd damage, a smash with no fall, and faked falls from teleport-packet exploits such as MaceKill.
• Built for friendly fights:
  • Spear has its own reach and damage limits, lunge and charge are allowed, and one hit can pass through several targets.
  • Attribute swapping: items you just swapped away from still count for that hit.
  • Mace damage follows your real fall height, including Density, so a huge legit smash isn't flagged.
  • Elytra macing and pearl catching: the fake-fall check is relaxed for a short time after elytra, an ender pearl or a wind-charge launch.
• All of these limits and timings are adjustable under combat: in the config.

Movement checks

• Fly (hover and ascend), speed, no-fall and jesus, with optional setbacks.
• Aware of wind charges, wind burst, elytra, riptide, water and other legit boosts.

Exploit and grief protection

• Teleport-packet exploits: TPAura, InfiniteReach, MaceKill, ProjectileTeleport, Teleport, TPFly and spear blink.
• Nuker and insta-mine, boat noclip, scaffold and fast placing, and statistical X-ray detection.
• Click-command books and signs (ForceOPBook and ForceOPSign) and book title overflow dupes.
• A watch list of dangerous OP commands, an alert when an OP joins from a new IP, and a block on command-block items taken from the creative menu.

Illegal item reverting

• Puts items back to normal: over-max or wrong-target enchantments, custom attribute modifiers (the usual one-tap trick), oversized stacks, and over-long names, lore, books or data strings.
• Cleans containers the moment they are opened, and /hg cleanchunk cleans a whole chunk.
• Can run in report-only mode with items.revert: false.

Chat and command log

• Writes player commands, public chat messages, sign text and book edits, plus console commands, to one file per day in plugins/HuskyGuard/command-logs/.
• Records the player's name and UUID, and marks messages that another plugin cancelled.
• Writing happens on a background thread, so it never lags the server.
• Commands that only a client-side mod handles never reach the server, so they can't be logged. If the client sends them as plain chat they are.
• Search it in game with /hg cmdlog. Chat, signs and books can each be switched off in the config.

Alerts and logs

• Alerts go to the console and to every player with huskyguard.alerts.
• Violation levels build up per check and slowly decay, and alerts start at a level you choose.
• Log files in the plugin folder: violations.log, clients.log, check.log, ore.log, findplayer.log and punishments.log.

Spectator tab fix

• Makes players look the same in the tab list no matter what game mode they are in, so nobody can tell who is in spectator.
• Best: install ProtocolLib and it rewrites the game-mode packet, so the font is identical for everyone.
• No ProtocolLib: an optional fallback removes the italics from the name.

Installation

1. Use a Purpur or Paper 26.2 server (Java 25).
2. Drop HuskyGuard-1.0.0.jar into plugins/ and start the server.
3. Edit plugins/HuskyGuard/config.yml and run /hg reload.
4. Optional: install ProtocolLib for the spectator tab fix.

Configuration

Everything is in config.yml: switch any check on or off under checks:, tune reach, damage and spear limits under combat:, set the /ore size and gap under ore:, and manage the client list and the chat log options.
