FancierNPCs: make your Citizens NPCs feel alive

FancierNPCs is an add-on for Citizens that gives your NPCs things to do. They can chop trees, mine, fish, farm, walk around, chat with players, wave, and even dance. Your spawn, town, or prison stops feeling empty and starts feeling lived in.

How it works Select an NPC, type /fnpc add , and it starts doing that job straight away. One NPC can have several traits, so you could make a farmer who wanders, waves at players, and talks. You can change every trait with simple commands, no config editing needed.

What your NPCs can do

• Mine: you go up to the blocks and mine them, with the actual sound of cracking and particles spawning. The blocks regenerate, which means your constructions remain safe.
• GUI: Able to edit your NPCs through a GUI (/fnpc gui ) or shift click the npc.
• Chop trees: use the lumberjack preset to cut logs with an axe.
• Fish: cast a rod, wait for a bite, reel in, and show off the catch.
• Farm: harvests ripe crops and replants them, and can make crops grow faster.
• Walk and wander: follows a path you set, or roams freely around an area.
• Run: sprints laps or runs away from players.
• Look around: watches nearby players or glances around naturally.
• Fight: attacks nearby mobs.
• Eat: snacks on food now and then.
• Talk: says lines in chat and in a speech bubble, and greets players by name.
• Wave: turns and waves when a player walks up.
• Dance: crouches, spins, and hops, with music notes.
• Jump: hops around now and then.

Bonus: prison guards (Wardens) Turn any NPC into a guard. Players who fight near a guard become Hostile. If they escape, they become Wanted, and every guard attacks them on sight. It includes safe zones, a /record command to view a player’s criminal record, and PlaceholderAPI support.

Requirements: Paper 1.21+ and Citizens. PlaceholderAPI is optional.
