BlockCoin

⚠ Requires Paper 1.21.1+ and Java 21, plus Vault and an economy plugin. It does not run on plain Spigot.

What is BlockCoin?
BlockCoin adds virtual cryptocurrencies whose price moves in real time. Players buy and sell them with your server's Vault money, trade them with each other, or mine them with minions placed in the world. Mining is self-regulating: the more active minions on the server, the higher the global difficulty.

Features
Dynamic market

• Prices update on a configurable interval (default 10 minutes) using volatility, mean reversion, buy/sell demand and mining inflation.
• Every order also moves the price instantly (exponential model), so quick buy-and-sell pumping isn't profitable beyond fees.
• Random Bull Run and Cryptocrash events, announced server-wide. Admins can trigger them manually.
• Create as many coins as you want in config.yml: name, symbol, color, price range, volatility, liquidity, mining rate.

Exchange & wallet

• Buy and sell using Vault money, with configurable fees.
• Wallet GUI with balances, net worth, trend and transaction history.
• Player-to-player transfers (offline players included).

Minion miners

• Built with Display Entities (ItemDisplay + TextDisplay): animated, lightweight, with a floating status hologram.
• Minions keep mining even when their chunk is unloaded or the owner is offline.
• Powered by vanilla fuel: Redstone, Redstone Block, Blaze Rod. Out of energy = Standby with a "⚠ No Energy" hologram.
• Hopper support: place hoppers above or beside a minion to feed it automatically.
• Per-player limit, configurable by permission.

⚙ Upgrades & modules (right-click the minion)

• Hashrate, Storage and Energy efficiency upgrades, paid with Vault money.
• Auto-Sell module: sells production to the market automatically.
• Overclocking chip: doubles speed for a limited time, with a risk of overheating.

Technical

• SQLite or MySQL, selectable in config.yml.
• Market calculations and all database I/O run asynchronously.
• English and Spanish included, fully editable (MiniMessage).
• PlaceholderAPI support.

Installation

1. Install Vault and an economy plugin (EssentialsX, CMI, etc.).
2. Drop BlockCoin.jar into /plugins and restart.
3. Edit plugins/BlockCoin/config.yml (coins, minion types, fuels, fees).
4. Give yourself a minion: /minion give <you> basic
