CoreStatus — your server's status, live in Discord

One Discord message that always shows whether your server is online, who is playing and how it runs. It is edited in place every minute through a webhook: no bot to host, no account to create. Free.

What it shows

One message in your channel, edited in place, so the channel never fills up:

• Online or offline, and for how long the server has been up
• Players: how many are online, and up to 10 nicknames (you choose how many, or none)
• Performance: TPS with a green, yellow or red marker, and MSPT on Paper and Purpur
• Server: the version and an address players can copy
• Your own look: title, a line of your own under it, colours and an icon in the corner

When the server stops, the message turns red and says since when the server is down. After a crash, the next start first says since when it was offline.



Short alerts, if you want them

Each one can be turned on or off, and each can go to its own webhook: the status in a public channel, the TPS warning in a channel for your staff.

• Start and stop of the server
• Joins and leaves: off by default. At most 20 a minute, the rest in one summary. Players in vanish are left out.
• Low TPS: one warning when the TPS stays below 15 for 5 minutes, and no second one until it recovers

Your whole network

On Velocity or BungeeCord, CoreStatus keeps one message for the whole network: every server from your list, its players and its TPS, and the total. Each server can keep its own status message at the same time.



Simple to set up

1. Put the jar in plugins/ and start the server.
2. In Discord: channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook → Copy Webhook URL.
3. Paste it into plugins/CoreStatus/config.yml and run /corestatus reload. The status shows up within seconds.

/corestatus test sends a test message to every webhook and tells you which one works. /corestatus status shows what was sent last. Alias /cstatus, permission corestatus.admin (operators by default).

Details

• One jar for Paper, Purpur, Folia and Spigot 1.20.6–26.3, Velocity (3.5 and newer) and BungeeCord/Waterfall. Java 21 or newer.
• English and Polish. Every text can be changed in its own file.
• Gentle with Discord: sending never runs on the server thread, it waits as long as Discord asks when it is busy, and a deleted or wrong webhook is turned off until /corestatus reload with one line in the console.
• Privacy: no telemetry. The plugin connects only to the webhooks you set. Player nicknames reach Discord only in the player list and in join and leave messages, and you can turn both off.
• Tested on real servers: Paper 1.20.6, 1.21.4 and 26.3, Folia 26.3, Spigot 26.2, Velocity 3.5.1 and 4.3.0, and Waterfall.
• Under every message there is a small "Status by Corestone • corestone.dev" line. footer: false hides it.
