LiteShade

About

LiteShade is a shader pack for Iris made exclusively for low-end PCs. I designed it for modest hardware, such as an Intel UHD 630, without giving up what makes the game look good: colored lights, shadows, water with reflections, and a sky that feels alive.

Features

A wooden dock stretches across the foreground toward a calm blue lake. On the left, a village of timber houses with thatched roofs sits on a grassy hillside lined with flowers. Clear skies with white blocky clouds. The water reflects the hillside and the houses, and the surface shows small ripples near the shore, while the deeper water on the right is a dark, saturated blue.

Nighttime snowy taiga under a sky with green and purple aurora bands sweeping across it. Dark blocky clouds pass through the aurora, and small stars are scattered across the sky. The snow-covered spruce trees and ground are lit faintly in blue-white, with the shapes of the trees barely visible against the dark horizon.

A red Nether fortress-like cave with netherrack walls covered in glowing spots. A tall lava fall drops down the center-right, and a dark basalt-like path runs toward the middle, with a small character standing on it. The red tones dominate the whole scene, with the lava and glowstone standing out as bright orange points.

The End’s obsidian pillars rise against a purple nebula sky full of stars, with the Ender Dragon flying overhead on the left, tethered to a crystal on top of a pillar. Endermen stand on the pale end stone in the foreground. The pillars and the dark outer walls stand out sharply against the glowing purple sky.
