Origins the Botanist Data Pack (1.20.1) – Heal in Water and Harvest Bountiful

Origins the Botanist Data Pack adds a plant-themed character choice for the Origins mod. It turns your character into a living plant creature that thrives in water and draws strength from nature. You gain extra crop drops whenever you farm fields in your world. The data pack also introduces natural thorn defenses along with abilities that shake the ground beneath your feet.

Features:

• Green Thumb: Harvests crops with built-in fortune to give you extra food and seeds from every crop.
• Quenching: Grants Regeneration I whenever you touch water and lets you heal by drinking water bottles.
• Thorny Body: Damages attackers with natural thorns when they hit you in melee combat.
• Own Kind: Protects you completely from thorn bushes and enemy thorns armor.
• Private Garden: Teleports you into a secluded flower pocket dimension when playing the dimension build.
• Earthquake: Shakes the ground to stun and lightly injure hostile mobs around your position.
• Grants the ability to burrow underground to move quickly through the dirt.
• Turns your skin green to reflect your leafy body.
• Leaves you weak to fire sources and burning hazards.
• Restricts your gear to leather armor and prevents you from holding shields.
• Reduces your maximum health pool by three whole hearts.
• Inflicts permanent Weakness I because of your frail build.
• Forces you to follow a strict vegetarian diet with no meat allowed.

How to Use:

1. Select the Botanist class from the selection screen after loading into your world.
2. Step into water pools or drink from glass bottles to regain lost health.
3. Press your primary power key (default: G) to visit your garden or burrow into the dirt.
4. Press your secondary power key (default: K) to trigger an earthquake against nearby monsters.
5. Rely on vegetable farms and light armor to survive your adventures with Origins the Botanist Data Pack.
