Explainstone and Songmelyn Mod (1.21.1) – Broadcast Custom Music Across Your Base

Explainstone and Songmelyn Mod brings stone-textured speaker blocks into your world so you can play custom music anywhere. This mod adds decorative blocks that match standard stones and wall fixtures that blend right into your builds. You can play private playlists inside your house or set up wide radio networks that cover whole towns. Music stays in sync across all listening blocks, making group bases feel active and fun.

Features:

• Stone Speaker Blocks: Blend into walls with rock, stone, cobblestone, granite, diorite, and andesite styles.
• Wall-Mounted Songmelyn: Mounts directly on walls to deliver sound without taking up floor space.
• Broadcast Transmitter: Sends audio tracks across 32 to 512 blocks on selected radio channels.
• Custom Audio Import: Lets players load personal Ogg Vorbis files up to 6 megabytes and 5 minutes long.
• Multiple Play Modes: Switches between normal sequence, repeat one track, and shuffle.
• Redstone Controls: Starts or stops playback using wire signals and built-in minute timers.
• Right-click menus display a full playlist, track duration, and a progress bar.
• Local mode plays sound directly from the block, while receive mode tunes into a broadcast channel.
• Connected speakers stay aligned with the transmitter so everyone hears the same beat.
• Slider bars let you adjust volume and sound distance for each individual block.
• Mono audio files provide clear 3D direction so you can hear where the music comes from.
• Sound levels follow the vanilla Records volume slider in your game options menu.
• Breaking a speaker resets its saved playlist so you can clean up unwanted setups.

How to Use:

1. Place an Explainstone block on the ground or mount a Songmelyn unit on a wall.
2. Right-click the block to open the control screen.
3. Add your .ogg sound files to build your playlist.
4. Choose Local mode for single-room tunes, or switch to Receive mode to pick up a transmitter signal.
5. Set your desired sound range, choose a play mode, and connect redstone if you want automatic playback.
