Rockstar Shaders Mod (26.3) – Cast Ray-Traced Light Across Vast Distant Horizons

Rockstar Shaders Mod brings ray-traced lighting, realistic water simulation, and glowing skies to Minecraft on Apple Silicon Mac computers. It replaces normal OpenGL shaders with Apple Metal and Vulkan technology to run ray-traced graphics. The mod lights up dark caves with soft bouncing light, mirrors terrain across wavy lake water, and stretches visible terrain far past standard chunk limits. Mac players can view distant mountain horizons, colorful sunset clouds, and bright light filtering through stained glass windows.

• Ray-Traced Lighting: Projects accurate sun shadows, natural sky illumination, and single-bounce global illumination across blocks.
• Interactive Water: Generates moving ripples, boat wakes, splash effects, rain rings, and bright caustics underwater.
• Extended Horizons: Renders distant terrain far beyond standard render distance limits in the Overworld, Nether, and End.
• Volumetric Light Shafts: Filters beams of fog and sunlight that catch the tint of stained glass blocks.
• Atmospheric Skies: Displays colored sunsets, twinkling stars, bright nebulae, and auroras with biome weather and lightning.
• Reflects scenery on water surfaces using ray tracing, and mirrors nearby blocks on solid surfaces.
• Works with custom entity models alongside LabPBR normal and specular resource packs.
• Runs hardware ray tracing on newer Apple chips and software traversal on older Apple chips.
• Replaces renderer parts that conflict with mods like Sodium, Iris, Embeddium, Nvidium, and Distant Horizons.

How to Use:

1. Remove conflicting renderer mods like Sodium, Iris, or Distant Horizons from your mods folder.
2. Start Minecraft and agree to switch to the Vulkan renderer when the prompt appears.
3. Load into any world.
4. Press K to open the settings menu and adjust your graphics.
5. Press C to zoom in on distant terrain.
