Hybrid Mobs — 18 creatures in the public edition

Meet familiar Minecraft creatures in unexpected combinations. Each hybrid has its own Blockbench model, texture and spawn egg. Explore suitable biomes to encounter them naturally in Survival, or use their eggs in Creative.

What's included

• 18 hybrid mobs and 18 individually textured spawn eggs.
• Biome-based natural spawning in the Overworld, Nether and End.
• Small groups, low spawn weights and local density limits.
• Basic walking, hovering or swimming, with passive, neutral or hostile behavior.
• Native behavior/resource packs; no Beta API or experiment toggles.

The public roster is Skeleton–Zombie, Spider–Creeper, Ghast–Blaze, Slime–Magma, Cow–Sheep, Creeper–Enderman, Iron Golem–Warden, Fox–Wolf, Bee–Creeper, Axolotl–Guardian, Chicken–Parrot, Turtle–Mooshroom, Strider–Magma, Armadillo–Silverfish, Breeze–Blaze, Endermite–Shulker, Horse–Phantom and Dolphin–Glow Squid.

Natural encounters

Enable Mob Spawning and explore matching habitats. Surface animals need sufficient light; hostile Overworld hybrids prefer darkness and need Easy difficulty or higher. Aquatic mobs use matching water habitats, Nether hybrids stay in Nether biomes, and Endermite–Shulker spawns in the End. Existing mob populations affect encounter frequency.

Installation

1. Download the Lite MCADDON attached to this post and open it with Minecraft Bedrock.
2. Enable both Hybrid Mobs Lite behavior and resource packs in your world.
3. Use Survival for natural encounters or Creative eggs to explore the models. Place swimming mobs in water.
4. Enable only Lite or Full in each world; they share mob identifiers.

Public Beta notes

Tested directly in Minecraft Bedrock for Windows 26.60; manifest minimum 1.21.80. All 35 Full models and representative movement cases were checked. The Skeleton–Zombie egg was used in both editions, and selected Overworld species were observed spawning naturally. Every species and biome, phones, consoles and multi-device multiplayer have not yet been tested individually.

Behavior is basic. Creeper explosions, Ghast fireballs, taming, breeding and custom loot are not implemented.

The cover combines real Minecraft photographs, the pack’s 18 egg textures, pixel frames and Minecraft lettering. The mobs were positioned in a separate photo world with native block scenery. It does not show a naturally spawned mixed herd.
