⬇ Download on ModrinthFFUtilities
The shared toolbox behind the Fyxe mods! FFUtilities adds no gameplay of its own. It gives Fyxe mods one tried-and-tested set of helpers for configs, HUD placement, tooltips and compatibility, so each mod doesn't carry its own copy.
How it works
Do you need to install it? Usually not! Fyxe mods that use FFUtilities carry it inside their own download, so it loads automatically. Only install it yourself when a mod's page asks you to.
Configuration
FFUtilities has one setting: extra debug logging, which helps when tracking down a setup problem.
Mod compatibility
- Sable: lets Fyxe mods add container cargo weight to moving structures and update their physics.
- Better Combat: FFUtilities can read Better Combat's weapon types (dagger, claymore, hammer and so on) for the Fyxe mods that use them.
- Accessories, Curios and Trinkets: FFUtilities can see what's worn in accessory slots, so Fyxe mods can count those items too.
- Cold Sweat: FFUtilities can read Cold Sweat's body and world temperatures for the Fyxe mods that use them.
- Tough As Nails: FFUtilities can read player and local temperature levels for the Fyxe mods that use them.
- Epic Fight: FFUtilities can tell Fyxe mods which weapon an Epic Fight attack used, its weapon type and where the blade was when it hit.
Version differences
FFUtilities works the same on every supported version and loader.
For datapack makers
FFUtilities doesn't use datapacks. Datapack options belong to the Fyxe mods that use it, so check their pages.
For mod developers
FFUtilities offers helpers for configs, HUD anchors, tooltips, colors, text, math, weather and config equations, wrappers for vanilla code that changed between Minecraft versions (NBT, attributes, effects, inventories, food, commands, GUI drawing), and soft compatibility with Sable, Better Combat, Epic Fight, accessory slot mods, Cold Sweat and Tough As Nails, all on every supported loader and version. Click the Wiki link in the sidebar for the API guide and examples.
What's with the FF prefix?
It stands for Fyxe's Features! It's a clean way to easily find all of my mods when changing configs or creating packs. Mods that are a part of the "FF" system are usually smaller and unintrusive.
