sDialogMenus | Custom Dialog Menus, PNG Banners & YAML Configuration
Java mod listed for Minecraft 26.x. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
⬇ Download on SpigotsDialogMenus lets server owners create interactive menus using Minecraft's native Dialog screen. Menus are defined in easy-to-edit YAML files, so you can customize them without recompiling the plugin.
Use native text and buttons for lightweight menus, or add custom PNG artwork. When textures are used, sDialogMenus builds a resource pack automatically and can optionally host that pack through its built-in HTTP server.
✔ Native Dialog menus: Create menus with text, buttons, tooltips, and configurable layouts.
✔ Custom PNG textures: Add banners and title graphics to your menus.
✔ Automatic resource-pack generation: Convert textures into bitmap-font glyphs and build the pack on startup or reload.
✔ Built-in pack hosting: Optionally serve the generated pack from the plugin's HTTP server.
✔ Flexible actions: Run player or console commands, send messages, broadcasts, titles, action bars and sounds, teleport players, switch proxy servers, open menus, refresh or close menus, and chain actions with delays.
✔ Placeholders: Player name, UUID, world, coordinates, online player count, maximum players, proxy server counts, and optional PlaceholderAPI support.
✔ Conditional content: Show elements based on permissions, placeholder comparisons, and combined && conditions.
✔ Clickable banners and overlays: Put live placeholder text over texture banners and configure alignment.
✔ Camera backgrounds: Present a fixed 3D scene behind a menu.
✔ Per-menu commands: Define commands in YAML to open individual menus.
✔ Join menus: Optionally open a menu when a player joins.
✔ Permission controls: Restrict menu access or individual buttons/elements.
✔ Extra resource-pack files: Merge custom assets from pack-extra/.
Compatibility note: sDialogMenus uses Paper's Dialog API and does not run on a standard Spigot server in its current implementation. This resource can be listed on SpigotMC, but the plugin requires a compatible Paper build. Verify the exact supported Paper version before publishing.
Command aliases: /dm, /dmenu, /sdm, /sdmenu, /sdialogmenus, /dialogmenus
Menu files can also specify permissions for individual elements and buttons.
Texture menus require players to receive the generated resource pack. Configure one of the following methods in plugins/sDialogMenus/config.yml:
Use /dm pack info to inspect pack information and its SHA-1. The resource-pack format must match the Minecraft client version you support.

- External URL: Host sDialogMenusPack.zip and set resource-pack.url.
- Built-in HTTP server: Enable resource-pack.host.enabled, configure port and public-address, and ensure the port is reachable from outside your network.
