Living Forge
Real blacksmithing for survival: heat your ingots, hammer them on the beat and quench the new tool.
- Living Forge: add coal (or charcoal, coal block, blaze rod) and up to 3 iron, gold or copper ingots. Watch them glow red, orange, yellow and finally white-hot.
- Smith's Tongs: take the glowing ingots out (bare hands burn!). They cool down in the tongs, so hurry.
- Smith's Anvil: pick a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel or hoe and strike with the Forge Hammer when the marker above the hotbar is in the middle. 6 strikes. Hotter metal gives you more time.
- Four qualities: Common, Good (Unbreaking I), Excellent (Unbreaking II + Sharpness/Efficiency I) and Masterpiece (Unbreaking III + II). Every tool is engraved with the smith's name.
- Quench Tub: fill it with a water bucket and quench the fresh tool for +1 Sharpness or Efficiency.
- 7 achievements and an in-game Smith's Guide (sneak + use the hammer).
- English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Recipes
- Living Forge: bricks around, a blast furnace in the middle, smooth stone at the bottom.
- Smith's Anvil: iron ingot on top, anvil between 2 iron ingots, smooth stone at the bottom.
- Quench Tub: planks in a U with a bucket in the middle.
- Smith's Tongs: iron ingot on top, 2 iron ingots in a V, 2 sticks at the bottom.
- Forge Hammer: 6 iron ingots on top and a stick in the middle at the bottom.
