Voxy Seed Gen Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Fill Your Render Distance with LODs

Voxy Seed Gen Mod extends Voxy with fast LOD generation straight from the world seed. It fills a full 2,048 chunk render distance in under a minute. The mod builds distant terrain without generating real chunks. It needs Voxy and Sodium to work, and it does not replace Voxy.

Features:

• Seed-Based Terrain: Works out terrain shape, biomes, surface blocks, trees, foliage, and structures from the world seed.
• N-Sized Worldgen: Writes each area at the same detail level Voxy draws it at, then writes it finer as you get closer.
• Continuous Generation: Starts when you join a world and keeps your radius filled.
• Very Fast Speed: Makes about 330,000 chunks per second. A 2,048 chunk radius (13.2 million chunks) takes about 40 seconds on 28 threads in Minecraft 1.21.11.
• Works in the Overworld, the Nether, and the End.
• Saves explored areas as normal.
• Works with noise based terrain mods and custom structure mods.
• Runs in singleplayer and in LAN worlds you host.

Commands:

• /voxyseedgen fill [radius] [threads]: starts filling LODs for the radius and thread count you pick.
• /voxyseedgen stop: stops the current fill.
• /voxyseedgen status: shows how the fill is going.

Configuration:

• Generation distance: from 16 to 4,096 chunks. The default is 256.
• Extended distance: lets LODs reach the world border. LODs past 2,048 chunks have lower quality.
• Continuous: keeps generating as you move. On by default.
• N-sized worldgen: on by default. Turn it off to write block detail everywhere. This is slow, but some modded worlds need it.
• Threads: a little under half of your CPU threads by default. The rest are left for the game and Voxy.
• Structures: on by default.
• Trees: controls trees and the scattered decoration in the Nether and End.
• Water features: controls kelp, ice sheets, and icebergs.
• Debug: shows progress and a summary in chat. Off by default.

How to Use:

1. Join a singleplayer or LAN world. The mod starts on its own.
2. To change options, open Video Settings and find the mod’s page.
3. To fill a bigger area by hand, type /voxyseedgen fill [radius] [threads] in chat.
4. Type /voxyseedgen status to check progress, or /voxyseedgen stop to cancel.
5. Areas Voxy already has are not redrawn, so new settings only apply to new areas.
