Re Terra Forged from the Ashes Mod (26.3, 1.21.1) – Climb Real Snowy Mountains

Re Terra Forged from the Ashes Mod brings classic realistic world generation back to Minecraft 1.21.1 – 26.3. It builds real landscapes with continents, mountain chains, eroded slopes and rivers that run all the way to the sea. The mod works on NeoForge and Fabric. It also adds a preset editor, so you can shape the world your way.

Features:

• Real Continents: Builds big landmasses with coastlines, shallows and bays.
• Mountains and Hills: Makes mountain chains, plateaus, hills, dales, steppes, badlands and volcanoes.
• Erosion: Water droplet erosion shapes the land. Steep slopes get rock and scree, and snow stays only where it would settle.
• Rivers and Lakes: Creates river networks with main rivers and tributaries that run to the sea. Lakes sit on rivers and in wetlands.
• Preset Editor: Gives you more than 160 settings on 11 pages, with a preview map that redraws on every change.
• Snow Line: Puts snow on the ground and on trees above a set height, so mountains in warm climates get snowy peaks. Still water above the line freezes. It is off by default.
• Adds its own template trees: oak, birch, spruce, redwood, willow, acacia and jungle. Bee nests grow on them with the vanilla chances.
• Spreads trees across the whole chunk in swamps, plains, savannas, meadows, windswept hills and snowy plains, so they no longer sit on a grid.
• Puts its own trees on rivers and frozen rivers: oaks on rivers and pines on frozen rivers.
• Lets swamp huts and other mods’ swamp structures generate again.
• Includes built-in presets: the Default preset plus the classic Beautiful, Huge Biomes, Lite and Vanilla-ish presets.
• Lets you save, copy and export your preset as a datapack.
• Gives you structure settings for every structure set: spacing, separation and salt, or switch a set off. Villages do not spawn on mountains.
• Shows a hint for every option button when you hover over it. Sliders that a switch turns off are greyed out with a note.
• Comes in 11 languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Polish.

Configuration:

• Valley Width: sets how wide river and lake valleys are, from x0.5 to x3.
• Steepest Valley Side: cuts back steep ground beside a river or lake, from 10 to 90 degrees.
• Valley Follows Meanders: removes dry valley floors beside a river where it bends away.
• Gorge Chance: sets how many rivers run in a gorge.
• Deepslate Level: sets the height where stone turns into deepslate.
• Snow Line Height: sets the height where snow starts.
• Snow Line Variation: sets how far the snow line edge goes up and down.
• Snow Depth at the Line: sets snow layers at the line, from 1 to 8.
• Snow Depth on the Peaks: sets snow layers on the peaks, from 1 to 8.
• Warm Oceans by Rainforests: turns the sea beside tropical rainforest regions into warm ocean with coral reefs. It is off by default.

How to Use:

1. Click Create New World.
2. Open the Game tab.
3. Check the World Generation switch. It is set to the mod by default. You can change it to Vanilla.
4. Press the settings button to open the preset screen and pick a preset or change the options.
5. Watch the preview map to see your changes, then create the world.
