Curios API UPDATED Mod (26.2) – Wear Rings, Charms and Trinkets in Extra Slots
Java mod listed for Minecraft 26.x. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
⬇ DownloadCurios API UPDATED Mod gives mods a shared way to add extra accessory and equipment slots for Minecraft 26.2+. On its own, this mod adds only an inventory GUI and two items in the Creative menu. Those two items are coding examples for other mods. You can change the slots to fit your style, and other mods fill them with gear.

Features:
- Central Slot Library: Adds new equipment slots through a simple identifier list. Slots with the same identifier merge together, so items work with each other. Unique identifiers can still be used for special slot types.
- Slots On Demand: Adds no slots by default. A slot appears only when something needs it, so you do not get empty slots with nothing to put in them.
- Custom Slots: Slots can have custom backgrounds and different sizes. They can also be disabled or hidden by default. Other mods can turn a player’s slots on or off, or add and remove a set number of slots of one type.
- Tag-Based Items: Uses the vanilla tag system to pick which items fit which slot. You sort items by making a .json file in the
data/curios/tagsfolder. One item can belong to as many slot types as you want. - One Central GUI: Shows all your extra slots in one screen that you open from the inventory. You do not need to open many different inventory screens. Other mods can still add their own GUIs for their own slots.
- Makes Mending and Curses work on items placed in these slots.
- Gives other mods small helper tools to connect their existing items and mechanics to the slot system.
How to Use:
- Open your inventory to find the Curios GUI.
- Press G to open the Curios GUI and see all your available slots.
- To sort items into slot types, add a .json file to the
data/curios/tagsfolder.
