Seasonal the Wicked Harvest Halloween Mod adds spooky farming content with new mobs, structures and two bosses. Ghosts float over the swamps at night, and some of your pumpkins come up rotten. Beat the Harvest Lich, and this mod lets you wake a scarecrow that harvests, replants and delivers crops to your chest.

Features:

• Scarecrows: Keep monsters out of a 15-block radius and keep crows off your crops within 16 blocks.
• Two Bosses: Fight the Harvest Lich, which is tougher than the Wither, and the Grim Reaper in its Nether crypt.
• Witch Cauldron: A brewing pot with its own fire, its own hours and its own recipes.
• Soul Apple: Gives you a permanent extra heart and is brewed from the Reaper’s soul.
• Scarecrow Farmhands: Work any crop, modded ones included, and replant everything they harvest.
• Adds seven new mobs, from ghosts that keep chasing you to crows that peck your crops back a stage.
• Adds four new structures: a wicked barn, a witch tower, a ruined throne and a graveyard.
• Makes some of your pumpkins come up rotten, and that is the only way to get one.
• Includes a full advancement tab that takes you from your first pumpkin to the last boss, with a hint for every step.

Mobs:

• Ghost: fast and fragile. Breaking line of sight does not shake it off. It throws soul fireballs and fades at dawn.
• Evil Scarecrow: a tough hunter. Wear a carved pumpkin on its home ground and it takes you for one of its own, until you hit it.
• Wicked Farmer: the villager who stays on at the barn after something moves in.
• Wicked Magician: calls up bats, hexes you with haze and blinks away the moment you get close.
• Wicked Bat: dives, bites, pulls away and circles back.
• Crow: lands on open fields by day and pecks your crops back a stage. A scarecrow keeps it away.

Bosses:

• Harvest Lich: a crowned scarecrow on a skeleton horse with 320 health. Summon it after dark at an altar made of a block of wicked resin, a block of gold and an evil carved pumpkin, with a rotten pumpkin on each side of the gold. It swings a golden hoe, charges in a straight line and sends wicked pumpkins that spit stinging green haze. Hiding behind walls does not work, because it lobs rotten pumpkins over cover.
• Grim Reaper: hangs unseen in the crypt under every graveyard until you step inside. It has 200 health, flies, and plunges everyone nearby into Darkness. It sweeps a scythe, hooks you from far away and drains your health with a beam once it is wounded. Mob effects do not land on it.

Structures:

• Graveyard: a walled yard of blackstone graves in the soul sand valley. A mausoleum stair leads down to the Grim Reaper’s crypt and its loot.
• Abandoned wicked barn: a ruined barn beside a wild field in the dappled forest. Some hide a cellar with a witch cauldron, a wicked bat and a farmer.
• Witch tower: a crooked stone tower in swamps and dark forests. The wicked magician waits at the top with two witches.
• Ruined throne: a broken stone dais in dappled forests and swamps, with a gold-crowned throne covered in cobwebs.

How to Use:

1. Build a scarecrow from hay, sticks and a pumpkin so monsters keep their distance.
2. Grow pumpkins until one comes up rotten.
3. Hunt ghosts after dark to get ghostly essence.
4. Get wicked knowledge from witches and the wicked magician. It unlocks the witch cauldron.
5. Brew wicked resin at night over soul fire, then use it to wake an evil scarecrow.
6. Raise the Harvest Lich at its altar and take the Spirit of the Harvest from it.
7. Brew hallowed resin in daylight with the Spirit as a catalyst, then wake a friendly scarecrow to work your fields.
8. To make a Soul Apple, kill the Grim Reaper and boil its Reaped Soul in the witch cauldron with an enchanted golden apple and a ghast tear, over soul fire after dark.
