Static Hollow Mod turns Minecraft into a creepypasta survival horror game. You find the Forsaken Altar, wake it, and try to survive what it lets in. It starts with nine original creepypastas hunting you in the dark, then grows across eight chapters. Every block, item and mob is redrawn to look darker, colder and in HD.

Features:
- Forsaken Altar: Every world has one, 500 to 1000 blocks from spawn. A ruined shrine rises around it as you get close.
- Eight Chapters: The story moves from things in the woods to a living Flesh, a broken city, a buried laboratory, a giant flower, a parasite, a door at the end of the world, and a dead green sea two thousand blocks deep.
- The Flesh: A column of raw muscle forty blocks high that spreads further every day. Grass turns to meat, stone goes veined and red, and trees become sinew. If it reaches the top, you get up again as one of the infected.
- The Undertow: In the Black Below, you can see its eyes out in the dark, turning as you turn. It learns how you move, where you come up for air and whether you carry a light.
- The Submarine Orpheus: Walk around its cabin, take the helm, ping the sonar, sleep in the bunks, cook in the galley and read the Watcher’s chart.
- HD Redraw: Every block, item and creature is redrawn to look darker, colder and in HD.
- Gives every creature its own model, animations, sounds, death animation, drop and head.
- Adds its own music, gear for every chapter, and cold and thirst to deal with.
- Brings compasses that point to the Forsaken Altar, the Murder Mansion and the Botanic Gardens.
- Makes the leviathans three times bigger and much scarier to look at.
- Adds the Hub, a place with a portal for every chapter.
- Lets the parasite get into anything with blood in it: animals, villagers, monsters, golems and even the warden.
The First Nine:
- The Hollow Neighbor stalks you, knocks on doors, and talks through the window, pretending to be a friend.
- Stitchjaw crawls flat like a lizard and climbs walls. Every bite tears the wound open further.
- The Weeping Shepherd weeps, and stares back if you stare.
- The Lullaby Mother steals villagers and drags you into the Hollow, a sealed black room under the world.
- The Broadcast has a CRT television for a head. Don’t look at it and don’t touch it.
- The Little Lamb is a crying child who follows you. Hit it and it shows its real face.
- The Hymnal floats, and its song weakens you and heals the others.
- The Underneath waits under your bed. Get up in time, or it drags you down through the floor.
- The Antlerkin copies cows, pigs and sheep to lure prey, and runs you down at night.
- The Watcher never attacks. It just watches, waves, points, and sometimes stands right behind you.
Bosses:
- The Hollow Saint waits in a ruined cathedral inside a walled graveyard. It is the first boss.
- The Mended is a boss with three phases. The Watcher stitches it together when you place the monster heads on the pedestals in the Murder Mansion.
- Specimen Zero sleeps in the water of the reactor two levels under the Rosemont laboratory.
- The Amalgam stands at the foot of the mast at Relay 6. It is everyone who came to the relay, grown into one heap.
- The Carrier waits in its crater in the Null Static Zone.
Act Two Monsters:
- The Bunnyman, the Hookman, the Hogshead, the Porcelain Man and the Harvestman watch you from the treeline first.
- Mothman, the Jersey Devil, Dogman and the Flatwoods Monster join them after the Breach Altar is woken.
Places to Find:
- Rosemont is a whole broken town with wrecked cars, a police precinct, an army checkpoint and the dead walking the streets.
- The Rosemont Botanical Research Laboratory is a buried lab with a reactor below it.
- Shelter No. 4 has bunkers and the Front Assembly.
- The Ashford Nuclear Plant, the Meridian Laboratory and Blackwater Station, an island lab where something got loose, wake up later in the story.
- Relay 6 sits on Hollow Ridge, and the Starlite Drive-in has Afterimages still sitting in their cars.
- The Null Static Zone is a grey plain where everything that went into the static ran down to.
Things That Hunt You:
- The Horde: some nights, ten to eighteen of the dead follow a bell through the dark to you.
- Static Hounds run in packs at night.
- One villager in every village is Hollowed.
- Nests and Broodmothers appear, along with mutations and the Great Bloom, which can swallow you alive.
How to Play:
- Look for the Forsaken Altar, 500 to 1000 blocks from spawn.
- Right-click the altar with an empty hand to wake it. From then on, the nine hunt everyone in the world, mostly in the dark.
- Defeat the Hollow Saint in the ruined cathedral to beat the first boss.
- Wake the Breach Altar after the Saint falls. New monsters take the place of the nine.
- Put the monster heads on the pedestals in the Murder Mansion to call the Mended.
- Keep going through the chapters. Build the Rosemont Device and an orbital railgun, then turn the Omni Ray on the Great Bloom.
