Overlord: Supreme Sorcerer

Become an undead sorcerer-king. Overlord adds a full tiered magic system with 52 spells, an undead army you command, a transformation into a skeletal Sovereign form, and the Great Tomb: an 8-floor dungeon with a guardian boss on every floor. Start as a human caster who only knows Magic Arrow. Level up to 100, evolve into an Elder Lich and then an Overlord, and finish by casting Super-Tier spells that can wipe out a whole battlefield.

Fan-made add-on inspired by the anime Overlord. Not affiliated with the official series.

How it changes your game

Vanilla Minecraft has no real magic class. This add-on gives you one, with its own progression running alongside normal survival:

• You fight with spells, not swords. You have a mana bar, cooldowns and cast times. Spells range from quick bolts to multi-second rituals.
• Killing things gives you magic levels. Kills (including kills by your spells and summons) give experience. Every level gives Spell Knowledge points to spend in your Grimoire on new spells.
• You get an army. Undead minions follow you, fight for you, and some stay with you permanently.
• There's a new endgame. The Great Tomb is a generated 8-floor dungeon with traps, garrisons, bosses and legendary loot. Clear it and the tomb becomes yours.

Getting started

New players receive a starter kit automatically (staff, grimoire, rings and potions). The items can also be crafted.

• Sovereign Staff: tap to cast your selected spell. Sneak + tap opens the staff spell menu. Works from the off-hand too.
• Grimoire of the Hollow Crown: tap to cycle your spell slots. Sneak + tap opens the spellbook, where you learn spells, choose your race and specialisation, and change settings.
• Sovereign Ring: transform into (or out of) your Sovereign form.
• Shooting Star Ring: cast Wish Upon a Star (3 charges).
• Mana Draught: restores mana.

The staff and Grimoire carry 5 quick spell slots, so you can switch spells mid-fight without opening a menu.

52 spells across 10 tiers, plus Super-Tier and racial magic

Higher tiers unlock as you level (Tier 3 at level 10, Tier 10 at level 80, Super-Tier at level 95). Some highlights:

Tiers 1–5 (early game)

• Magic Arrow: homing mana bolts. Gains extra arrows as you level (up to 5).
• Fireball / Lightning: a fire blast that ignites enemies, and a bolt that pierces every enemy in a line.
• Fly: real controlled flight. Jump to rise, sneak to descend, stay still to hover.
• Void Excavation: a mini black hole rips a 3×3×3 cube out of a wall and puts the blocks straight into your inventory. Great for mining.
• Teleportation, Dominate, Paralysis, Frost Spear, Greater Magic Shield, Wall of Skeleton, Summon Undead 4th and more.

Tiers 6–8 (mid game)

• Dragon Lightning / Chain Dragon Lightning: a dragon of lightning that bites through up to six enemies.
• Create Fortress: raises a stone stronghold that lasts one Minecraft night.
• Greater Teleportation: travel to any of 8 saved waypoints, even across dimensions.
• Explode Mine, Counter Arcana, Call Greater Thunder, Greater Full Potential, Body of Effulgent Beryl.

Tiers 9–10 (legendary)

• Grasp Heart: conjure your target's heart and crush it for an instant kill.
• Time Stop: freeze every creature and projectile around you. Your queued spells all hit when time resumes.
• Reality Slash: cut through space itself, ignoring armour.
• Black Hole, Meteor Fall, Nuclear Blast, Hellflame, Gate, Armageddon Evil, True Death, Cry of the Banshee, Summon Undead 10th (a Doom Lord) and more.

Super-Tier (level 95+, limited uses per day)

• Fallen Down: golden magic circles and a descending pillar of annihilating light.
• Iä Shub-Niggurath: a death wave sweeps the field and the slain rise as Dark Young that fight for you.
• Pantheon, Creation (reshapes the land and sky around you) and Wish Upon a Star.

Metamagic

Add up to 7 modifiers to any spell: Silent, Widen, Extend, Boosted, Maximize, Delay and Triple Magic (three targets or instances at once). Each one raises the mana cost, so you choose between power and efficiency.

Races and specialisations

• Human Magic Caster (start): faster mana regeneration.
• Elder Lich (level 40): an undead evolution. Immune to poison and hunger, dark vision, healed by negative energy. Unlocks Create Undead and Despair Aura.
• Overlord (level 75): the supreme undead. +150 mana, immune to mind control and cold, Negative Burst, and The Goal of All Life Is Death: a 12-second death clock that lets your instant-death spells kill even death-immune targets.

At level 20 you choose a specialisation: Necromancer (bigger, stronger army), Elementalist (fire and lightning power), Eclipse (death magic) or Chronomancer (faster casting).

Command an undead legion

Summon Skeleton Warriors, Archers and Mages, Death Knights, Elder Liches and the towering Doom Lord. Each type fights its own way: shield blocks, combo attacks, liches casting spells, heavy stomps. Death Knights and Elder Liches made with Create Undead are permanent. Your legion size grows with level, specialisation, robes and relics.

The Sovereign transformation

Use the Sovereign Ring to play a cinematic transformation into a skeletal sorcerer-king form. While transformed you get more mana and faster mana regeneration. Spells come with full casting animations: hand gestures, magic circles and a staff that changes with the school of magic you're using.

The Great Tomb: an 8-floor dungeon

A generated tomb with a different theme, traps and monsters on every floor:

1. The Catacombs: Sylvan Warden

4. The Burning Sanctum: The Infernal Strategist
5. The Iron Gallery: The Iron Steward
6. The Black Rampart: The Black Bastion

8. The Throne of the Hollow Crown: Shade of the Hollow Crown

Each guardian has its own dialogue, multiple phases, telegraphed attacks and counterspells. The arena seals when the fight starts. Beat the final boss and the tomb becomes yours: defeated guardians become your allies, and you can rekindle the trials to fight them again.

Relics and World Items

Every guardian drops a legendary relic with its own active power. A few examples:

• Lance of Crimson Thirst: a lifesteal dash through enemies.
• Glacier Halberd: a freezing cone attack.
• Warden's Antler Whistle: summons spirit hounds and reveals hidden monsters.
• Mask of a Thousand Faces: a disguise that lasts 45 seconds.

You can also recover rare World Items such as the Orb of the Eternal Tomb, which creates a monster-free sanctuary where you and your allies regenerate.

Gear

• 5 craftable robe sets (hood, robe, skirt, boots), each with per-piece and full-set bonuses:
  • Archmage: cheaper, stronger spells
  • Wanderer: faster casting and movement
  • Reaper: bigger legion, night vision, immune to wither
  • Astral: huge mana pool and shorter cooldowns
  • Warlock: fire and death power; attackers burst into flame
• Abyssal Mantle: cheaper spells and faster mana regeneration.
• Hourglass of Stillness: immunity to enemy time stops.
• Phylactery of the Legion: once per day, saves you from death with a full heal.
• Over 25 staff skins in three tiers.

Customisation and settings

• Eye-flame colours, auras, titles over your head, robe and hand skins.
• Graphics quality, particle amount, screen shake, flashes and a cinematic mode, so it runs well on phones too.
• World rules: terrain damage (off / limited / full), friendly fire, PvP, spawn protection, boss health and party system.
• Supreme Being mode: play instantly at level 100 with everything unlocked.
• Commands via /scriptevent ov:<name> (unlock, level, learnall, race, kit, menu, tomb tools and more). Type /scriptevent ov:help for the full list.

Requirements

• Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.90 or newer (Windows, Android, iOS, consoles).
• Apply both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack to your world (the .mcaddon installs both).
