Snake Player Mod (26.3, 1.20.1) – Grow a Longer Snake Body with Every XP Level

Snake Player Mod lets you turn into a snake that moves on its own. Your snake grows longer as your XP level goes up. The mod gives you commands to change the size, speed, and damage of your snake body.

Features:

• Snake Mode: Turns a player into a snake. You can switch it on or off for any player.
• XP Growth: The number of body segments is your XP level plus 1, so a higher level means a longer snake.
• Custom Sizes: Lets you change the head size and the body segment size from 0.1 to 10.0.
• Contact Damage: Mobs and players take damage when they touch a segment of your snake body.
• Auto Movement: The snake moves forward by itself at a speed you can set.
• Spread Respawn: Players can respawn away from other players inside an area you choose.
• Lets you set how much XP a segment drops as an XP orb.
• Works with vanilla commands, so you can change your XP level and your snake length right away.

Commands:

• /experience set @s 100 levels: sets your XP level, which sets your snake length.
• /snake <targets> <dataparameter_key> <value>: changes one snake setting for the chosen player or players.
• /snake config set spread : turns spread respawn on or off. False uses normal spawning.
• /snake config set spread_pos <cx> <cz>: sets the center X and Z of the spread area.
• /snake config set spread_Range <L>: sets the size of the spread area, from 0.1 to 10000.0.
• /snake config set spread_minimum_distance <r>: sets the smallest distance between players, from 0.1 to 100.0.
• /snake config set segment_experience <exp>: sets the XP orb value of a segment. Use a whole number from 0 up.
• /snake config get <key>: shows the current value of a config setting.

Snake Keys:

• isSnake: true or false. Turns snake mode on or off.
• headSize: the head size, from 0.1 to 10.0.
• bodySegmentSize: the size of each body segment, from 0.1 to 10.0.
• damage: the damage from body segments. Use 0 or higher.
• speed: the snake’s movement speed, from 0.0 to 0.75.

A value outside these ranges gives an error.

Configuration:

• IsSnake: a player NBT value that shows if the player is in snake mode.
• SnakeHeadSize: stores the head size of the player’s snake.
• SnakeBodySegmentSize: stores the size of the body segments.
• SnakeDamage: stores the damage taken when something touches a segment.
• SnakeSpeed: stores the automatic movement speed of the snake.

How to Use:

1. Set your XP level with /experience set @s 100 levels.
2. Type /snake @s isSnake true to turn into a snake.
3. Use /snake @s headSize <value> or /snake @s bodySegmentSize <value> to change how big your snake looks.
4. Use /snake @s speed <value> and /snake @s damage <value> to change how fast it moves and how hard it hits.
