GalaxyPack II (CustomSkyboxes)

GalaxySkyPack II

A whole new trip through space for CustomSkyboxes. New nebulae, spiral galaxies, giant planets and a black hole, with all new assets.

Requires the CustomSkyboxes mod. This pack adds the textures, and you choose what to show with the mod's commands.

What's inside

• 16 night skies:
  • Nebulae: nebula_bloom teal_tide ember_veil rose_garden emerald_veil ice_veil
  • Galaxies and stars: milky_river great_spiral twin_galaxies star_cluster deep_field supernova_ring
  • Planets and more: ringed_giant blue_planet red_planet black_hole
• All of them are also in the sky folder, so any of them can stay up day and night
• 8 moons and worlds: ice_moon amethyst_moon ember_moon jade_moon ocean_world rust_world ash_world little_saturn, and they follow the moon phases
• 7 suns: blue_giant white_dwarf red_giant gold_star violet_star twin_stars pulsar
• 4 clouds: stardust cyan_dust rose_dust gold_dust
• Rain and snow: star_rain meteor_rain star_snow moon_dust
• 3 rift backgrounds: rift_cosmos rift_rose rift_gold

How to use it

Put the pack in your resourcepacks folder, turn it on in game and try:

/customskyboxes set night_sky black_hole.png
/customskyboxes set night_sky ringed_giant.png sky_modifiers=shooting_stars
/customskyboxes set night_sky nebula_bloom.png sky_modifiers=meteors,twinkle
/customskyboxes set sky milky_river.png
/customskyboxes set moon little_saturn.png scale=2
/customskyboxes set sun twin_stars.png scale=2
/customskyboxes set clouds stardust.png
/customskyboxes set rift vanilla type=circle color=CYAN radius=25 posX=SOUTH posY=MIDDLE background=rift_cosmos.png

Tab completion lists every texture. Use /customskyboxes reload if a new texture does not show up.

sky_modifiers needs CustomSkyboxes 1.0.4.2 or newer. Works side by side with the first Galaxy pack.
