PrismDirector
Java mod listed for Minecraft 1.20–26.x. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
⬇ Download on ModrinthLeft 4 Dead's AI Director, for your survival server. It watches how much pressure each player is under and paces the danger around them.
Intensity climbs when you take damage (worse when you're already low), get kills, or have mobs on you, and decays when things go quiet. Hit 70 and you get a peak, then a breather where nothing spawns naturally within 48 blocks of you. Dying gives you a long breather. There's also a mercy rule: low hp with mobs swarming you ends a peak immediately. Spawners, raids, and other plugins are never touched.
Then there are hordes. If you've been chilling for 6 minutes, you're out at night or underground, you're well geared, and you're far from your bed, you might hear a raid horn behind you: "Something is coming..." Five seconds later 3 to 8 mobs spawn 18 to 28 blocks away, out of sight, and come straight at you. Never on Peaceful, never with mob spawning off, max one per 10 minutes per player.
