# Blockjagd Bingo **Minecraft Java 26.3 · Paper · Java 25 · No client mods required** Race your friends through a shared 5×5 item bingo board, or tackle a constantly changing set of five collection goals. Play solo for personal bests or compete in colored teams. The in-game interface supports **English and German**, selectable independently by every player. ## Two ways to play - **Classic 5×5 Bingo:** complete any row, column or diagonal of five items. Everyone gets the same board. Team members share progress. - **Collection Hunt:** five active item goals. Finding an item automatically scores it and replaces that slot. Complete a row, column or diagonal to win.  ### Collection Hunt / Sammeljagd Five active goals in a single row. Ingredients can open further recipes.  ## Language / Sprache Click **Deutsch / English** at the bottom of any menu, or use `/bingo language`. Choose **English**, **Deutsch** or **Automatic**. Direct commands: `/bingo language en`, `/bingo language de`, `/bingo language auto`. No operator permission needed. Your choice is saved across restarts and does not change anyone else’s language or any game rules. Automatic mode follows your Minecraft language (German for German clients, English otherwise). Menus, item names, recipes, records, chat messages and the live sidebar are localized. German and English item names are both accepted when searching for goals to ban. No external translation service required. ## Features - Compass menus for goals, teams, recipes, settings and records. No command memorization for normal play. - Click a goal to inspect its crafting recipe; follow ingredients into nested recipes. - Four curated survival difficulties: easy, normal, hard and very hard. Advanced targets include brewing, Nether materials and Mending books; no Elytra or dragon requirement. - Persistent record book: fastest classic bingo lines, collection checkpoints at 5/10/15/20 items, and higher checkpoints only after they have been achieved. Timed rounds also have item-count rankings. - Player names, team, difficulty, duration, date and time for each result. Solo runs, team sizes and different rule profiles have separate rankings. - Live progress leaderboard, winner highlights, Minecraft challenge sound and spectator player selection. - Operator menus for monster difficulty, night vision, lava/fall/general damage, hunger, PvP, speed, haste and inventory retention. - Optional `/top` and safe vertical `/down` teleport. - Ban troublesome goals using `/banitem hand`, a hotbar slot or a German item name. - Solo-start confirmation, team assignment choices, optional autostart and confirmed round restart. - Game state and records survive normal server restarts. No external service, account or database required. ## Installation **Use a dedicated Bingo server. Joining the lobby and starting a round clear player inventories and change game modes. Do not install this on an existing survival server without a backup.** 1. Install Paper **26.3** and Java **25**. 2. Place `blockjagd-bingo-0.8.0.jar` in the server’s `plugins` directory. 3. Restart the server. Join with a Minecraft Java 26.3 client. 4. Give your game organizer operator access through the server console (`op YourName`). 5. Open the compass menu, choose teams and let an operator start the game. Tested with Paper 26.3 build 241. Other Minecraft versions, Spigot, Folia and Bedrock clients are not supported/tested. Existing record files remain in `plugins/BlockjagdBingo/records.yml`. Record timing begins with newly started rounds; old rounds are not retroactively ranked. ## Transparenz / Transparency Developed with substantial generative-AI assistance for code, tests, documentation and the project icon, guided and playtested by the project owner.
