**What is r/Place?** r/Place was a unique experiment on Reddit that started on April 1, 2017. It was a collaborative online canvas of 1000x1000 pixels where users could place one pixel every five minutes. The goal was to create artwork through cooperation and competition. Different communities tried to claim parts of the canvas, resulting in a dynamic, colorful pixel art.
