DecorationX Christmas Mod (26.3, 1.21.1) – Decorate Your Home and Fight Snowman

DecorationX Christmas Mod adds 235 festive blocks and 12 snowman mobs to your world. You can decorate cozy homes and snowy streets, build snowman helpers, and start snowball fights. This mod also brings a winter boss called Old Frostbelly, so bring friends.

Features:

• 235 Festive Blocks: Every block is modelled in 3D, from fireplaces and grand trees to gingerbread houses and lamp posts.
• 12 Snowman Mobs: You get 1 boss, 3 minibosses and 8 other mobs, both friendly and tricky.
• Snowball Weapons: Use a launcher, a cannon and a redstone turret to start a snowball war.
• Snowman Helpers: Build your own snowman friends who follow you and fight for you.
• Boss Fight: Old Frostbelly has 450 health and drops the Tree Topper Star, which no recipe makes.
• Adds 9 containers, 10 seats and 102 light sources, and 42 of the blocks react to redstone.
• Wild snowmen live in snowy biomes all year and show up three times as often in December.
• Presents hold 9 stacks and keep their items when broken, so a filled present works as a real gift.

Decorations:

• Cozy home: three fireplaces with mantels, armchairs in six styles, a sofa, a dining set, a festive piano and a grandfather clock.
• Trees and trimmings: four grand Christmas trees, topper stars, baubles in nine colours, wreaths, garlands and stockings.
• Gifts and treats: presents in six colours, an advent calendar, gingerbread houses, cookies and milk, a cocoa station and a toy train.
• Lights: twinkle lights in six colours, icicle lights, lanterns, window candles, Moravian stars, light-up reindeer and lamp posts.
• Village and yard: cottages, shops and chapels, market stalls, sleighs, nutcrackers, carolers, ice sculptures and snowy pines.

Snowman Mobs:

• Friendly: Snowman Buddies, hopping Snowlets, Skater Snowmen on frozen rivers and Gift Snowmen that drop presents.
• Pranksters: Snow Tricksters throw snowballs in the dark and Snow Rollers bowl into you, but they never take you below one heart.
• Minibosses: the belly-flopping Snow Bruiser and the Blizzard Mage, whose staff breaks into a rage at half health.
• Old Frostbelly: stamps, throws volleys and calls minions. It sheds its belly as a rolling Frostbelly Ball and fights on as a floating head.

Snowball Gear:

• Snowball Launcher: hold to spray snowballs.
• Snow Cannon: hold to charge, then release for one heavy shot.
• Snowball Turret: a 9-slot redstone turret that keeps firing while powered.
• Special snowballs: Giant (shoves), TNT (explodes), Frost (slows and freezes), Confetti, Glow and Snowdrift (leaves snow).

Configuration:

• tnt_snowball_block_damage: controls block damage from TNT Snowballs. The default auto breaks no blocks on a dedicated server and works like TNT in single player and LAN. The other choices are all, weak (follows mobGriefing) and none.
• decorationx_christmas_snowball.json: the file that holds the TNT Snowball setting.
• decorationx_christmas_mobs.properties: holds the December boost, the helper cap and the boss options (camera shake, music, damage cap, rituals).
• decorationx_christmas_mobs_client.properties: the client config file for mobs.

All config files appear in the config folder after the first launch.

How to Use:

1. Put a Snowman figure on a snow block, then place a carved pumpkin on the figure to get a Frosty Helper. It fights up close and refills your Snowball Turret with dropped snowballs.
2. Use a Green Scarf Snowman figure instead to get a Gunner Snowman, who throws snowballs at your enemies.
3. Feed helpers snow blocks or snowballs to heal them. Helpers never hurt players, and you can have up to 4.
4. Stack two snow blocks, a gold block and a carved pumpkin to summon a Snow Bruiser. It needs Normal difficulty or harder.
5. Find Old Frostbelly asleep in a grove, or build the ritual on flat ground: a 4×4 floor of snow blocks with a lantern on each corner and a 2×2 snow pillar two blocks high in the middle.
6. Craft a Giant Carrot with eight carrots around a gold nugget. Put it on the pillar, then add a carved pumpkin on top. This also needs Normal difficulty or harder.
7. Hold the Snowball Launcher to spray snowballs. Sneak and use it to switch ammo.
