DolphinClient Modpack ships with a client and a set of performance mods for playing Hypixel on an older Minecraft release. It gives you higher frame rates on that server than other popular clients do. The pack also swaps the Lunar Client HUD for Hypixel mods, a clean GUI and old-style animations.
Features:
- Hypixel Focus: Replaces the Lunar Client HUD with Hypixel mods, a clean GUI and old-style animations.
- Client Menu: Opens the in-game client menu when you press Right Shift.
- Higher FPS: Own tests show about 800 FPS on Lunar Client versus about 3000 in Housing, and about 200 versus about 600 in a Duels lobby.
- Builds on AxolotlClient with rewritten configuration and tweaks.
- Runs on Ornithe, a backport of Fabric, together with the Ornithe Standard Libraries.
- Comes as a Modrinth-format pack (.mrpack), so a launcher can import it as one instance.
Included Mods:
- Argentum: a Sodium port for the old game version.
- Cera: adds OptiFine compatibility.
- NettyFix: allows multiplayer connections on the newest Java.
- SoundFix: brings the newer sound system to the old game version.
- Argentum Extras, Async Logger, Legacy LWJGL, OldAnimations and Zirconium round out the set.
How to Play:
- Open a launcher that can import packs.
- Import the downloaded file as a new instance.
- Let the launcher download everything.
- Play that instance and join Hypixel.
- Press Right Shift in game to open the client menu.
