What is Vanilla Prime Client?

If you want your game to look and run amazing but still want to play on your favorite vanilla servers, this is the pack. It’s 100% client-side, meaning you can jump into official Realms, public SMPs, or minigame servers like Hypixel without getting kicked or banned. You get all the crazy visuals and massive FPS boosts, but to the server, you're just playing regular vanilla.

Performance & Optimization

• The Optimization Stack: We packed in Sodium, Lithium, ModernFix, and C2ME to basically eliminate micro-stutters and get you the highest FPS possible.
• Smart Rendering: Entity Culling, Cull Leaves, and Noisium run in the background to stop the game from rendering stuff you can't even see, saving a ton of resources.

Visuals & Audio

• Distant Horizons + Iris: See tens of thousands of blocks away. We paired LOD rendering with Complementary Unbound shaders for insane views with dynamic lighting and volumetric clouds.
• Ambient Details: You'll see falling leaves in forests, water ripples when you swim, and enhanced particle effects for soul fire and splashes.
• Sound Physics & Footsteps: Caves actually echo now, and your footsteps change depending on exactly what block you're walking on. General ambient sounds (like wind and birds) make the world feel alive.

Animations

• Fresh Animations: Mobs actually have expressive movement, realistic walking gaits, and moving eyes instead of just being stiff blocks.
• Player Movement: We threw in Eating Animation and Not Enough Animations so things like rowing, climbing, and eating actually look natural when you're in third-person.

Quality of Life Tweaks

Small things that make playing way better:

• See what's inside a shulker box or bundle just by hovering over it.
• Clean, color-coded F3 menu (BetterF3).
• Keep moving around with WASD while you have your inventory open.
• Better advancement pop-ups and an unlocked 360-degree third-person camera.
• Easy Elytra takeoff so you don't have to awkwardly jump to fly.
• Replay Mod is built-in if you want to record cinematic timelapses.

Resource Packs

We tossed in a few aesthetic packs to clean up the UI and visuals:

• Invisible Item Frames for cleaner building and storage displays.
• Enchant Icons so you can actually tell what a book does just by looking at it.
• Fancy Crops and Simple Grass Flowers for better farming and terrain visuals.

How to Install & Play

Just download the vpclient.v[VERSION].mrpack file, import it into your launcher (Prism, Modrinth App, ATLauncher, etc.), and hit play.

Requirements & Best Settings

• RAM: Allocate 3GB to 6GB (6GB is the sweet spot for heavy shaders).
• Shaders: Complementary Unbound is on by default. If your PC is struggling, just bump the shader profile down to Medium in your Video Settings.
• Distant Horizons: Leave the CPU load profile on 'Balanced' with a 64–128 chunk radius for the best mix of performance and looks.
