Public Skin Totems Mod (26.3, 1.20.1) – Turn Totems Into Tiny 3D Figures

Public Skin Totems Mod transforms every Totem of Undying into a tiny 3D figure with a real player skin and cape. When a plain totem lands in your inventory for the first time, it locks to your look right away. The item still saves you from death just like a normal totem and shows your miniature character in your hand, hotbar, and item frames. You can also rename totems at an anvil to collect tiny figures of friends or famous players.

Features:

• Automatic Skin Claiming: Picking up an unclaimed totem locks it to your skin and cape right away.
• 3D Display Everywhere: Shows the tiny player figure in your hand, hotbar, inventory, item frames, and on the ground.
• Anvil Skin Collection: Renaming a totem in an anvil to any Minecraft username gives it that player’s skin and cape, even if that account is offline or has never joined the server.
• Saves you from death just like a normal Totem of Undying while only changing how the item looks.
• Keeps the owner’s skin when dropped or traded so everyone on a server can see who owns each totem.
• Loads skins for offline players straight from Mojang’s servers when connected to the internet.
• Works on the client to display 3D models, while server and client installation together unlocks claiming, anvil renaming, and commands in multiplayer.

Commands:

• /skintotem give <name> [players]: gives a totem claimed to that player’s skin, even for offline accounts (requires operator permission level 2).
• /skintotem reset [players]: clears the claim on every totem in the target’s inventory so each one locks to whoever holds it (requires operator permission level 2).

How to Use:

1. Pick up any plain Totem of Undying so the mod claims it to your own skin automatically.
2. Place a totem inside an anvil and rename it to any Minecraft username to give the figure that player’s skin and cape.
3. Put your custom totems inside item frames to build a display shelf of your friends or favorite skins.
