Better Phantoms Data Pack (1.18.2, 1.17.1) – Phantom Rework

Better Phantoms Data Pack is a data pack that will make some changes to the “Phantom” mob in Minecraft. It will disable the insomnia mechanic, thus making Phantom unable to spawn naturally in the Overworld. Instead, they will be spawning in the small End Islands biome.

Features

• Phantom will also be more difficult to kill. If shot by a projectile, Phantom will turn invisible for ten seconds. However, you can still see their eyes and use that to your advantage. When damaged by a Phantom, player will have a 20% chance to be inflicted with Blindness.
• Phantom Membrane will now have more usage. You can use them to craft Elytra (very useful in multiplayer) as well as upgrading your Firework Rocket to Nightmare Rocket. Nightmare Rocket has a flight duration of 25. With this, you can fly extremely far. Nightmare Rocket can also be launched from a crossbow. Entities damaged by Nightmare Rocker are afflicted with Blindness.
• You can run ‘/loot give @s loot betterphantoms:items/nightmare_rocket’ to get the new item as an op. You can also run ‘/function betterphantoms:uninstall’ to turn insomnia back on.
