Fish Trap Data Pack (1.16.5, 1.14.4) – Automated fishing

Fish Trap Data Pack for Minecraft lets you use barrels as one of your new tool to catch fishes and fishing items. With this, you can easily create an automated fish farm with very little setup and material. Even though the Fish Trap automatically obtains fishing loot at slightly slower rates than using a fishing rod, it’s still worth your time checking this data pack out.

How to Use:

• Rename a barrel to “Fish Trap” using the anvil.
• Placing it in a large enough body of water (at least 3×3 blocks of water).
• The fish trap will automatically obtain fishing loot over time (Random loot).
• It has a 1 in 8 chance of getting loot every 3 seconds (drop rates still average at about 1 every 24 seconds but being randomized just makes it feel more natural).
