Infection Gaze Gloom Addon (26.x, 1.21) – MCPE/Bedrock Mod

Infection Gaze Gloom Addon is inspired by the horror elements of Minecraft Bedrock Edition, where “infection” is not just a mechanic but a living force, always changing and spreading. Players face mutated monsters, corrupted blocks and a dramatic boss battle. The main highlight of the mod is the new biome called inspection_gloom, where the dirt and grass are dark and creepy with 10 decorative structures that match the infected atmosphere.

Features:

• Biome inspection_gloom: dirt, grass and dark, creepy scenery, with 10 decorative structures.
• Daytime monsters:
  • Human: attacks with claws.
  • Humanoid: crawls and attacks anything in its path.
  • Lure Mimic: disguises as a diamond, turns into a monster when approached; defeating it has a chance to receive real diamonds.
• Night Monsters:
  • Weird: a walking nightmare that kills anything that moves.
  • Viewer: hunts down other creatures.
  • Gnarled Guardian: has a monster mouth instead of a hand to kill its target.
  • Torn Maw: a torn body, a head full of mouths, a gruesome appearance.
• Ruins and treasures:
  • Simple Ruins: two types, one with regular treasure, one with better treasure, protected by Defenders.
  • Advanced Ruins: guarded by Keepers, contain Gloom Shards that can be crafted into Gloom Ingots to upgrade Netherite armor, increase HP and add positive effects.
  • Boss structure: built from new bricks, has mazes, treasure chests and Broken mobs. When they die, they split into living body parts and turn into bugs. The final boss is Gaze with 2 combat phases, drops Gaze’s Head (decoration) and Bone Spikes (weapon that deals 12 damage).
• Gaze Gloom Infection System:
  • The Nest: a creepy, constantly spreading entity that transforms the environment into a dark biome with Gloom Blocks, Catalysts, Carpets, and Sprouts.
  • Infectors: Mutant cockroaches and bats, released when the Nest is destroyed; a single attack can turn normal creatures into infected monsters.
  • Chain Reaction: When infected creatures die, they spawn more cockroaches, causing rapid spread.
• Loot:
  • Heart of Gloom: a rare item from the Nest, used to craft powerful items and summon the final boss.
  • Gloom Clot: a disgusting sticky substance from infected creatures, used in many recipes.
