Teleporting Ride with Pearls Addon (1.20, 1.19) – MCPE/Bedrock Mod

Teleporting Ride with Pearls Addon addresses a common frustration among Minecraft players: when throwing an ender pearl, the player’s ride (such as horses, camels, or boats) doesn’t teleport along with them. With this add-on, any ridden entities will be teleported along with the player when an ender pearl is thrown.

Features:

The addon introduces a new item, the Pearl Linker, which enables this feature. It is 100% survival-friendly, 99% bug-free, and does not require any experiments or APIs. It supports both English and Chinese languages.

This addon was originally part of the MineCars Addon but was made independent due to its usefulness. It is the first and only add-on capable of teleporting ridden entities along with the player using Ender pearls.

How to use:

• Step 1: Acquire the ‘Pearl Linker’ item

• Step 2: Hold the item while riding an entity

• Step 3: Throw an Ender Pearl.

The ridden entity’s teleportation range has a maximum radius of 60 blocks. Upon teleportation, the entity will take 1 heart damage. If the pearl is stuck on the ground and the entity is not teleported, please wait for a few seconds (your game is lagging).

Technical Details:

• 1. This addon modifies the code of the Ender Pearl
• 2. Do not use the /tag command to remove the tags: “pearl_teleportable_ride” & “teleport_me” from any entities (otherwise, your warranty is void lol)
• 3. If you want it to work with your custom entities, give your entities the tag “pearl_teleportable_ride”
• 4. Not yet tested on servers

How it works:

• Using the Pearl Linker item tags the closest entity with the tag “pearl_teleportable_ride”
• When throwing an Ender Pearl, it tags the ridden entity (which has the tag “pearl_teleportable_ride”) with the new tag “teleport_me”. Upon its impact, the ender pearl will teleport the entity with the tag “teleport_me” along with the player, then force the player to ride on the entity.
