Life in the Village 2 Modpack (1.16.5) – Town-Building, Exploration, Quests

Life in the Village 2 Modpack is a low-tech, vanilla+ experience focused on quests, exploration, and town-building using the Minecolonies mod. It is a continuation of the previous “Life in the Village” pack, updated for newer Minecraft versions. Create your own thriving town, fortress, or fishing village. Citizens will gather resources, build, and upgrade under your control. The modpack enhances vanilla gameplay with new NPCs, terrain features, mineshafts, and decorations without overwhelming new players.

  • Build in different styles with Minecolonies.
  • Add immersive lighting: candles, lanterns, hanging lights, and lamps.
  • New building details: windows, roofs, gutters, bridges.
  • Furniture: wardrobes, nightstands, tables, bookshelves, cupboards.

  • New building materials from Quark: limestone, slate, jasper, midori, biotite, colored wood.

  • Build a university to advance your colony further.
  • Plan buildings, roads, and decorations with the simple planning tool.
