Jurassic: Prehistoric Creation

• Over 60 million years ago, great creatures walked the planet now extinct. From towering giants with long necks to tyrants with bone crushing bites. Now you can bring them back.

 

Here are some basic things to know before downloading this Addon.

 

 

Fossils:

•  Fossil Ore:       This ore generates at around [Y] level 60 in every biome. At the beginning level, you'll find the most recent fossils, Cenozoic and you'll have to dig deeper to find older fossils. To mine it, you must use an Iron Pickaxe or higher tier pickaxe. This is the first step into creating flora and fauna. You can learn more about Fossils here:

Machines and Creature Welfare:

This video below will show you everything you need to know about the Machines, how to craft them, how to make flora and fauna, as well as how to take care of them:

 

Weapons:

The weapons in this addon have both bone and fossil variants, where bone weapons deal more damage, but fossil weapons have higher durability. The weapons include ToothSpears, Frozen Meat, Thagomizer Swords, Sickle Swords, Horn Swords, Sabre Knives, and the Reinforced Crossbow.

 

Armor:

In addition to weapons, there is armor in the addon. Fossil and Bone Armor are created by the bones or fossils of the creatures. Additionally you can create a Wing Suit made with a Bone Chestplate and Pteranodon Membranes to let you slow down your fall. There is also Fur Armor created with Leather Armor and Mammoth Fur that will let you not get damaged by the cold.

 

Building Blocks:

In addition to creating prehistoric life, you can also build with many blocks including: Volcanic Blocks, Limestone Blocks, Metal and Electric Fences, Paddock Signs, Charred Wood, Scale Wood, and Dried Scale Wood.

Tar Pits:

Generates in between [Y] level 60 and 70. Don't get stuck!

 

Volcanic Lands:

Currently the only biome in the mod. There, you can collect Charred Wood, Volcanic Blocks, Lava, and Basalt.
