Bedrock ChunkLoader

Your farms work brilliantly — until you walk 30 blocks away and everything grinds to a halt. ChunkLoader adds placeable blocks that keep chunks loaded and ticking, so your contraptions finally work without a babysitter.

Key Features

How to Use

Getting a Chunk Loader

Craft one at a crafting table — a Redstone Block in the centre with a Diamond, Resin Clump, Amethyst Shard, and Lapis Lazuli around it (the four corners are left empty). It's an overworld scavenger hunt rather than a boss grind: deep caves for the diamond, an amethyst geode to crack open, a mining trip for lapis, and a trek into the Pale Garden for the resin clump. The recipe unlocks the moment you pick up a Redstone Block or a Resin Clump.

You can also grab one from the creative inventory under Equipment if you're not feeling the grind.

Placing & Managing

Place the block wherever you want chunks to stay loaded. It'll activate automatically and show its status with floating text above the block — green tick means working, red cross means off. Right-click (interact with) it to open the management menu where you can toggle it on/off, set a farm type, and check its status.

Only you (or an admin) can break your chunk loaders. Nobody's griefing your setup.

Farm Mode

This is where it gets good. Place the chunk loader above your farm's collection system — either a hopper directly below or a water stream within 2 blocks. Open the menu, hit Set Farm Type, and pick from 12 supported farms:

Farm Type Drops
Iron Farm Iron Ingots, Poppies
Gold Farm Gold Nuggets, Rotten Flesh, Gold Ingots
General Mob Farm Gunpowder, Bones, Arrows, String, Spider Eyes, Rotten Flesh
Creeper Farm Gunpowder
Witch Farm Glowstone Dust, Redstone, Sugar, Sticks, Glass Bottles, Gunpowder, Spider Eyes
Enderman Farm Ender Pearls
Blaze Farm Blaze Rods
Guardian Farm Prismarine Shards, Prismarine Crystals, Cod
Drowned Farm Rotten Flesh, Copper Ingots, Nautilus Shells, Tridents
Slime Farm Slimeballs
Fish & Ink Farm Ink Sacs, Glow Ink Sacs, Cod, Salmon
Magma Cube Farm Magma Cream

When no player is within the configured proximity distance, the chunk loader handles the farming for you. Walk away guilt-free.

Looting Sword Support

Want more drops? Hold a Looting-enchanted sword while your farm is running and the looting level applies to the farm's drop rates automatically — just like a real trident killer. No extra setup, just hold and profit.

Redstone Control

Hook up a redstone signal to your chunk loader to pause it. The block switches to an orange [REDSTONE OFF] state while powered, so you can build automated on/off systems or just slap a lever on it. There's a 2-second grace period when deactivating to prevent chunk unloading race conditions, because we thought of that so you don't have to.

For Admins

Run /mygen:chunkloaders to open the admin panel. From there you can:

Need a hand moderating? Operators can promote trusted players from the Manage Administrators screen — pick an online player and they instantly gain full admin-panel access. Revoke it whenever you like; removal even sticks for offline players, applied the next time they log in, and the admin roster persists across restarts. Operators and delegated admins carry the chunk_admin tag, letting them break or manage any chunk loader regardless of ownership.
