Mythical Runes introduces 3 new engraved rune crystals in different colors: Redstone Rune, Glowstone Rune, and Lazuli Rune. Combine them to craft unique rune combinations and cast one of 10 different spells.

How to Get the Crystals:

To craft one of the 3 different crystals, you need to find "Arcane Shards," which can be mined from Arcane Mines. These mines generate between Y level 60 and -20, and you can only gather crystals with an iron pickaxe or better.

After that, combine the shards with redstone, glowstone, or lapis lazuli to create your desired rune.

How to Cast Spells:

To cast a spell, you need to declare 3 runes in total, regardless of their color. To declare a rune, equip the colored runic item in your hand and interact with it. A rune will appear on the screen, indicating a successful declaration. Once you've done this two more times, the spell will activate based on the colors used.

Spells are determined by the color combination of the runes, not the order. For example, RRL, RLR, and LRR will all create the same spell.

SPELLS

Mobility:

G + G + G = Teleportation

• Effect: Teleports you to the block you’re looking at.
• Passive: Causes damage similar to an ender pearl.
• Note: Distance depends on your world’s render distance.

G + G + L = Horizontal Boost

• Effect: Boosts you forward or sideways depending on movement.
• Passive: Slow falling effect.
• Note: Also pushes nearby entities.

G + G + R = Vertical Boost

• Effect: Launches you upwards.
• Passive: Slow falling effect.
• Note: Doesn't affect other entities or players.

Potion Effects:

L + L + L = Purification

• Effect: After 5 seconds, removes all potion effects and grants Strength and Resistance.
• Passive: Absorption effect for 5 seconds; nearby entities are slowed, and take damage afterward.
• Note: Repeating the spell refreshes the timer.

L + L + R = Night Vision

• Effect: Grants Night Vision and Conduit Power.
• Passive: None.
• Note: Purification removes these effects too.

L + L + G = Invisibility

• Effect: Grants Invisibility and Speed.
• Passive: None.
• Note: Purification removes these effects too.

Damage:

R + R + R = Strike and Escape

• Effect: Damages nearby entities and knocks you backward.
• Passive: None.
• Note: Watch out for fall damage!

R + R + L = Blinding Projectile

• Effect: Fires a projectile that damages, blinds, and slows targets briefly.
• Passive: None.
• Note: You can be hit by your own projectile.

R + R + G = Power Beam

• Effect: Summons a lightning strike at the block you're looking at.
• Passive: None.
• Note: The lightning bypasses obstacles.

Special:

R + G + L = Overcharge

• Effect: For 15 seconds, you can use runes without depleting them.
• Passive: None.
• Note: Recasting this spell during the 15 seconds will trigger an explosion that damages nearby entities, without consuming the runes.
