Developer Notes – Pale Forest Dimension
This add-on is a hands-on example of Minecraft Bedrock’s new custom dimension system, built using Preview/experimental features.
It showcases:
- A fully scripted, survival-compatible terrain generator
- A new Pale Forest dimension (infinite, always night)
- Custom ambiance, music, and light shader tweaks
- Portal access via Pale Oak Door + Trial Key
- Return travel back to the Overworld the same way
This isn’t meant to be a fully finished content pack—it’s a working reference for creators who want to build their own dimensions.
That said, it’s fully playable in survival if you just want to explore something eerie and different.
