Captures

These small ghosts carry a random item inside them it's what keeps them "alive." They appear at night, roaming the surface, and will either attack you or frighten nearby enemies if they spot you. By day, only items are left on the ground; some are cursed, summoning a ghost if you touch them, while others may be safe, letting you interact without any ghostly retaliation.

Possession: If these creatures lose the item within them, they’ll start to die and desperately search for something else to possess. If they find a rideable creature, they’ll climb onto it and render it invisible.

Day Sensitivity: These creatures burn in daylight and can no longer revert to being inactive items. If killed while burning, the item they carry will be lost.

They aren’t dangerous, but they’ll definitely give you a scare when you pick up items from the ground.
