Harder Reality

This add-on significantly increases the difficulty of Minecraft PE, expanding all the processes needed to craft basic items and adding realistic survival systems.

🔨 Core Mechanics

Break Hand

• Players cannot break stone, wood, or metal blocks with their hands, including blocks from other add-ons using these tags.
• Attempting to break blocks without proper tools will break your arm, and the block will not break.
• Items not classified as tools will disappear if used incorrectly.

Destroy Item

• Using an item that is not a tool and has no durability to break wood/stone/metal will make the item disappear and block destruction will fail.

Grass Fiber

• Breaking grass or tall grass may drop Grass Fiber.
• Used to craft Grass String.

Flint Shard

• Interact with a stone while holding Flint to receive Flint Shards.
• Drops are random but always less than the amount of Flint used.

Flint Knife

• Used to break your first wood block.

🪓 Wood Processing

Getting Planks

1. Crafting planks normally produces a Chopper Block.
2. Place any type of wood on top of a Chopper Block.
3. Click the wood with an axe to obtain planks.

⚠️ Damage & Debuffs

Break Leg

• Jumping from high places applies a Slowness effect proportional to fall damage.

Raw Meat

• Eating raw meat causes a Poison effect.

Pebble

• Mining stone with a pickaxe drops 4 pebbles, making mining slower.

Explosions

• Explosions deal increased damage.
• Player also suffers Weakness effect for a few seconds after contact.

Fire

• Fire deals slightly more damage.
• Also applies Blindness effect for a short time.

Lava

• Lava is extremely deadly.
• Causes massive damage, multiple negative effects, and leads to near-instant death upon contact — making it far more realistic.

🔥 Furnace System

Normal Furnace

• Requires iron to craft.
• Use a Primitive Furnace first to proceed.

Primitive Furnace

• Place coal at the bottom and light with a Flint Shard.
• Functions like a normal furnace for heating items.

Primal Forge

• Place coal at the bottom and light it with a Flint Shard.
• Place the primal forge at the top.
• Once the furnace is lit, click on the forge with some raw ore (copper, iron, or gold).
• Use the forge faucet on either side of the forge.
• Place the forge output below the forge faucet, then click on the faucet to drain the liquid and turn it into ingots.

Bricks

• Crafted by placing clay on a campfire.

💧 Thirst System

• Thirst below 10% causes negative effects.
• 0% thirst results in death.

Water Types

• Unpurified Water: 25% chance to poison.
• Purified Water: Safely restores thirst without penalties.

⚡ Stamina & Energy

Stamina

• Running, jumping, or attacking mobs reduces stamina.
• Standing still or crouching recovers stamina faster.
• Sleeping fully restores stamina.

Energy

• Decreases over time and faster if stamina is low.
• Only sleeping restores energy.

🌡 Temperature System

• Environmental factors influence temperature:
  • Nether → rises faster
  • End → drops faster
  • Proximity to hot or icy blocks → modifies temperature
  • Rain also affects temperature
• Cold biomes are dangerous; wear leather or chainmail armor to counter freezing.

⚙️ Survival Tips

• Explore cold biomes carefully.
• Equip leather or chainmail armor to mitigate extreme cold.
• Be cautious with explosions, fire, and lava — they are much deadlier now.
• Monitor stamina, energy, and thirst for optimal survival.
