Bluestone Add-on

Bluestone is a powerful magnetic-based resource added to Minecraft, designed to expand redstone mechanics with physics-like attraction and repulsion systems.

Bluestone Ore

Bluestone Ore generates at the same Y-level as Redstone Ore.

It must be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or higher to drop Bluestone Dust.

• Drops 4-5 Bluestone Dust by default
• Affected by Fortune enchantment:
  • Fortune I → 4-6 dust
  • Fortune II → 4-7 dust
  • Fortune III → 4-8 dust

Bluestone Dust

Bluestone Dust is the refined material obtained from:

• Mining Bluestone Ore
• Smelting Bluestone Ore

It is used to craft Bluestone Blocks, the core material for magnetic devices.

Bluestone Block

Bluestone Blocks are the foundation of all magnetic machines in this addon.

They interact with magnetic devices such as the Magnetic Piston and other systems to create movement-based contraptions.

Magnetic Piston

The Magnetic Piston is a highly advanced block that can push or pull Bluestone Blocks depending on its mode.

Features:

Push mode → repels Bluestone Blocks or items
Pull mode → attracts Bluestone Blocks or items

Mode can be toggled by right-clicking the piston or by a redstone signal (similar to a Copper Bulb)

When moving Bluestone Blocks, they will push other movable blocks in their path, break fragile blocks such as grass or torches, and stop upon encountering immovable blocks such as Obsidian.

This system enables advanced automation, movable structures, and physics-inspired contraptions.

Bluestone String

Bluestone String is a string infused with Bluestone Dust.

It is used as a crafting component for advanced magnetic components, including the Hopper Enhancer (other things later).

Hopper Enhancer

The Hopper Enhancer is a support block that can only be placed on top of a hopper.

It extends the hopper’s item collection range up to 5 blocks, allowing items to be pulled from a wider area.

Magnetic Wand

The Magnetic Wand is a handheld item used to attract or repel items.

Features:

Push mode → repels nearby items
Pull mode → attracts nearby items

Toggle mode by right-clicking while holding the wand in the main hand.

When held in either the main hand or off-hand, the player gains magnetic interaction with nearby items.

When two Magnetic Wands are equipped (main hand and off-hand), both range and magnetic strength are increased.

The player holding the wand can also be affected by magnetic systems, such as Magnetic Pistons, Hopper Enhancers, and other players with a wand.
