Mail Delivery Addon (Achievement Friendly)

(Updated 04/09/26) Mail Delivery is a Bedrock addon that adds a fully functional in-world mail system to your server or realm. Players craft and place physical mailboxes, deposit boxes, and package boxes, then send items, sealed packages, and handwritten letters to each other through them. Mail is queued when recipients are offline and delivered automatically on their next login, with a chime and chat notification letting them know something is waiting.

Mailboxes come in post-mounted and wall-mounted variants and support all 16 dye colors. The flag raises when outgoing mail is queued and lowers once it's picked up, giving players a clear visual cue. Mailboxes are owned by the player who claims them, so only the owner and server admins can open them, keeping mail private.

Letters support custom text, relative timestamps ("sent 2d 4h ago"), unread markers, and can be replied to directly from the inbox. Package boxes let players bundle multiple item stacks into a single sealed package before shipping. A friend list gives quick access to frequent recipients, and letters can be sent to multiple players at once.

Admins have full control through an in-game settings UI accessible from the Guide Book. You can blacklist specific items from being mailed, review an audit log of send and receive events, configure when outgoing mail is processed (immediately, hourly, at noon, or every X in-game days), set a per-player send cooldown to prevent spam, and manage or reassign ownership of abandoned mailboxes.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Download the .mcaddon file
2. Open it and Minecraft will launch automatically and import both packs
3. Create a new world (or open an existing one) and go to Add-Ons
4. Enable both the Mail Delivery behavior pack and resource pack
5. Load in and you're good to go! New players will receive a Guide Book (with more info) automatically on their first join
