RR Last Breath v2.0.0 - The Ultimate Hardcore Survival Overhaul

Hey everyone! Let's be honest about vanilla Minecraft: Hardcore mode is entirely predictable. The first few days are slightly scary, but the exact moment you craft a full set of Diamond or Netherite armor, you are essentially immortal. You can jump off mountains, swim in lava, and take hits from hordes of zombies without breaking a sweat. The survival aspect of the game completely vanishes, and the world no longer feels dangerous.

I wanted to bring true fear and hardcore survival mechanics back to Bedrock Edition. I created the RR Last Breath Addon to completely overhaul how the game works. This is not just a simple difficulty tweak; it is a complex, terrifying, and highly rewarding survival system. It introduces advanced medical mechanics, environmental hazards, stamina, and a brutal death penalty. For Version 2.0.0, the entire core engine has been rewritten. This is the Full Access Edition, meaning every single premium feature, Blood Moon event, and server leaderboard is 100% unlocked for you right out of the box!

The Lives & Death Ban System

In standard Minecraft, death is just a minor inconvenience. In RR Last Breath, every single life is incredibly valuable.

• The 5-Life System: You do not have infinite respawns. You start your world with exactly 5 Lives (which admins can configure up to 10). If you make a mistake and lose all of your lives, you are hit with a Death Ban.
• The Death Ban: When you run out of lives, you are temporarily banned from interacting with the world. You are placed in a purgatory state with severe debuffs like Blindness, Weakness, and Mining Fatigue for a set duration (default 5 minutes). You are forced to sit, wait, and think about your survival mistakes. Once the timer ends, the Auto Resurrect system fully restores your lives.
• Earning Lives: You can earn lives back through pure survival skill. You are rewarded with +1 extra life for every 10 consecutive days you survive, and you have a rare 5% chance to earn a life upon killing hostile mobs.

Advanced Medical Mechanics

Say goodbye to natural health regeneration. In this addon, your health does not automatically refill just because your hunger bar is full. You must rely on food items, potions, and raw survival skills to heal. Furthermore, taking damage has severe consequences.

• The Bleeding System: Whenever any mob hits you, there is a 10% chance you will suffer a deep wound and start bleeding. You will slowly lose 1 HP every 30 seconds. To cure this, you must stop moving, find a safe corner, and hold Sneak (crouch) for 5 continuous seconds to naturally bandage yourself.
• Viral Zombie Infection: Zombies are no longer a joke. Every zombie bite has a 20% chance to infect you with a deadly virus. A 60-second poison countdown will begin. If you do not quickly drink a Milk Bucket to cure the infection, you will take a massive 10 HP of fatal damage.
• Physical Injuries: Taking fall damage will shatter your legs, applying a Slowness effect. Surviving a Creeper explosion will leave you heavily dazed with a severe Nausea effect.

Environmental Hazards & Blood Moons

The world itself is actively trying to kill you. You must prepare for the environment before you explore.

• Dynamic Temperature: Exploring the Nether, swimming near lava, or digging into deep caves will cause you to Overheat. Climbing high mountains or walking through ice biomes will cause you to Freeze. Extreme temperatures will slow you down and deal periodic damage until you find shelter.
• Night Blindness & Fear: The darkness is terrifying. If you wander out at night without holding a Torch or a Lantern in your inventory, you will be struck with Night Blindness and fear effects.
• The Blood Moon: Every night has a 15% chance to turn into a horrifying Blood Moon. The sky turns dark, custom Wither sounds play, and all mobs become enraged. They gain massive Strength and Speed boosts for 5 minutes. You must barricade your doors and survive the nightmare.

Stamina, Scaling Difficulty & Live HUD

You can no longer sprint away from your problems forever. The addon features a Live Stamina Bar displayed cleanly on your screen. You have 100 Stamina that drains as you run. If you hit zero, you suffer severe Exhaustion and Slowness until you stand still to catch your breath.

To ensure the game never gets too easy, RR Last Breath features Progressive Scaling Difficulty. The longer you survive, the harder the world fights back. At Day 30, all mobs permanently gain +1 Strength. At Day 50, they gain +2 Strength. You must constantly upgrade your gear to keep up.

Live Leaderboards & Admin Controls

If you are playing on a multiplayer server, surviving the longest is the ultimate flex. By holding a Book and Sneaking, you can open the Stats Panel to view your current Lives, Days Survived, Total Deaths, Mob Kills, and how many Blood Moons you have endured. The menu also features a live server Leaderboard ranking the Top 5 players by their longest survival streak.

Server Admins have total control over the hardcore experience. By holding a Name Tag and Sneaking, admins can open the Settings Panel to easily toggle specific features (like Temperature or Infections) ON or OFF, adjust the Death Ban duration, and configure maximum lives using clean dropdown menus.
