You know sometimes you really just want some really hot, delicious, and soothing cup or glass of— Coffee! This add-on adds, you guessed it: Coffee, that would really energize your experiences in your Minecraft worlds.
Note not much of Spoilers here.
Another big content of mine compared to some previous ones although this one adds an all new content that really connects with vanilla Minecraft.
How do you get Coffee?
Start on finding Wild Coffee Bushes in Jungles and get Wild Coffee Cherries. Eat the cherries to get the coffee beans which you can plant into a Coffee Bush to get more coffee cherries or process it in a Coffee Tray which you need to ferment it first in a dark area then sundried. Dried Coffee Beans can be brewed into Coffee Teas or roasted and ground into Ground Coffee to brew coffee and craft mocha and other coffee related items and foods.
Caffeine Level Mechanic
The Caffeine Level is a hidden(or semi-hidden) stat which tracks your caffeine level. Each Brewed Coffee item adds a certain amount of caffeine(can be seen in item's tooltip) or each Coffee Tea decreases a certain amount of caffeine along with their own potion effects added. The Caffeine Level has a max amount of 10, reaching 11 results in a Caffeine Crash making you weak and rendering you unable to consume coffee items for a few seconds. Having a high caffeine level makes you shiver and hungry and not allowing you to use a bed(setting spawnpoint and sleeping). Each Caffeine Level stage has a few set of buffs but mostly Speed and Haste.
Add-on Requirements
- Might require experiments to be enabled based on your version. But to ensure it, make sure Beta-APIs and Upcoming Creator Features are enabled.
