DA Terracotta Expansion
Survival-friendly walls, slabs and stairs for Terracotta blocks, slabs for Glazed Terracotta blocks, and a new Terracotta Shingles block set.
I don't know my version

Are you ready for survival?
A survival-friendly and redstone-compatible expansion for the Terracotta block set.
- Adds slabs, stairs and walls for Terracotta
- Adds slabs for Glazed Terracotta
- Adds blocks, slabs, stairs and walls, creating a new Terracotta Shingle block set
Stairs are functionally "vanilla" and connect seamlessly to vanilla stairs, DA Addon stairs, and potentially other custom stairs. Walls are also visually "vanilla", and connect to vanilla and other DA Addon walls. They are nearly identical to vanilla functionality - certainly enough to keep the zombies out and your villagers in!
New in version 2.2+
Placing blocks onto the sides, tops and bottoms of walls, slabs, and stairs are run through a rules check, bringing even more vanilla parity to the DA Terracotta walls, slabs and stairs.
Exceptions were made to allow buttons to be placed on top of walls (like we used to!) and hang bells and signs off the sides of top-slabs. Additionally, if a wall has a post, you can tie a lead to it!
Settings
Please enable Experimental Toggles (Beta API and Upcoming Creator Features) for full compatibility.
Version 2.2.0 has improved stair functionality, taking advantage of the Minecraft 26.0 update, and are finally Realms-friendly!
Known Issues
- Walls have a very small list of unavoidable (for now?) exceptions to vanilla behavior, including fences connecting to them (they don't connect back!). It is the sacrifice that must be paid (for now) to allow glass panes and metal bars to also connect to the walls.
- Most of the issues with fence gates shifting when placed with custom walls has been resolved, but it may still occur when gates are placed side-by-side or above one another. They no longer shift when it is unwarranted, either! (Sorry about that!)
Future Update Plans
This will be the last non-bug-fix version until Mojang figures out what they want to do with fences, panes and bars. Maybe by then we will have stairs to add to the Glazed Terracotta block set as well.
Other Addons Coming Soon!
I am also working to finalize a few other stone block sets, so be on the lookout for:
- DA Simple Stone Bricks (Merry Christmas 2025)
- DA Game Rules Expansion (new in 2026!)
- DA Gradient Bricks (coming February 2026!)
