Fangs is a Minecraft Bedrock addon that turns you into a vampire with a full ability system, blood mechanic, levelling, and a skill tree with two branching paths. Every kill makes you stronger. Every night is yours

How To Get Started

When you first join a world with Fangs active you will receive a Blood Tome in your inventory. Right-click it at any time to open your Vampire Menu. Everything in the addon is accessed from there.

The Blood System

Blood is your core resource. It sits between 0 and 100 and drains slowly over time. Every mob you kill restores blood. At night blood regenerates passively. If you run out you will be too weak to use most abilities. During the day, low-level vampires (Level 10 and under) suffer slowness and weakness while the sun is up. At night all vampires gain night vision and a strength boost that scales with your level.

Levelling Up

You gain XP for every kill. Each level requires (current level x 15) XP to advance. The level cap is 30. New abilities unlock as you level up and you earn 1 Skill Point every 5 levels to spend in the Skill Tree. When you level up a screen will notify you of what you unlocked and any Skill Points gained.

 

Abilities

Open the Blood Tome and select Equip Ability to assign moves to your hotbar slots and choose a trigger for each one. Triggers available:

• Right Click 
• Sneak + Jump
• Double Sneak
• Punch

You can view all move details in the Move Info menu. Hover over any move in the list to see its description, cost, cooldown, and unlock level.

 Starter Moves

• Shadow Dash: Blink 5 blocks forward through shadows.
• Cost: 15 blood Cooldown: 3s 

 

• Life Drain: Drain nearby mobs for damage and heal yourself.
• Cost: 10 blood Cooldown: 3s

 

• Vamp Escape: Vanish and gain a burst of speed.
• Cost: 20 blood Cooldown: 5s

Mid Game Moves 

• Blood Nova (Level 4): Erupt with vampire energy and blast all nearby mobs outward.
• Cost: 30 blood Cooldown: 6s

 

• Blood Shield (Level 6): Crystallise your blood into armour. Resist damage and reflect hits back at  attackers for 5 seconds.
• Cost: 22 blood Cooldown: 6s

 

• Bat Form (Level 7): Transform into mist and soar upward with speed for 3 seconds.
• Cost: 25 blood Cooldown: 7s

 

• Crimson Chains (Level 9): Bind nearby enemies in blood chains, rooting them for 3 seconds.
• Cost: 20 blood Cooldown: 5s

 

• Void Step (Level 11): Warp to the nearest enemy and strike for bonus damage on arrival.
• Cost: 18 blood Cooldown: 4s

 

• Sanguine Burst (Level 13): Sacrifice all your blood as raw damage. More blood means more damage.
• Cost: All blood Cooldown: 8s

 

• Compulsion (Level 15): Automatically slows all nearby mobs. No trigger needed. Equip it to a hotbar slot and it runs on its own.
• Cost: 5 blood per pulse Cooldown: 3s

 

• Dark Pulse (Level 16): Send a wave of dark energy in a line that passes through walls and damages every enemy it touches.
• Cost: 25 blood Cooldown: 5s

 

• Blood Lance (Level 17): Condense your blood into a piercing lance for massive single-target damage.
• Cost: 28 blood Cooldown: 6s

 

• Night Shroud (Level 18): Cloak yourself in darkness. Full invisibility and night vision for 8 seconds.
• Cost: 20 blood Cooldown: 12s

 

• Soul Rend (Level 19): Tear out the life force of a nearby enemy. Wither them and restore your blood.
• Cost: 15 blood Cooldown: 7s

Late Game Moves 

• Crimson Storm (Level 20): Summon a storm of blood shards raining down around you. Hits all nearby enemies repeatedly across 5 waves.
• Cost: 35 blood Cooldown: 10s

 

• Abyssal Grasp (Level 22): Reach out with shadow hands and drag all nearby enemies to your feet, stunning them.
• Cost: 30 blood Cooldown: 9s

 

• Wrath of Night (Level 24): Channel the darkness into pure fury. Massively boost your damage and speed for 6 seconds.
• Cost: 40 blood Cooldown: 15s

 

• Blood Tether (Level 26): Link yourself to a nearby enemy and drain their health continuously for 4 seconds.
• Cost: 22 blood Cooldown: 8s

 

• Void Collapse (Level 28): Tear open a void rift and implode all nearby enemies inward with crushing force.
• Cost: 45 blood Cooldown: 14s 

 

• Blood Ascension (Level 30): Ascend to peak vampire form. All stats maximised and near-invincible for 10 seconds.
• Cost: 60 blood Cooldown: 20s

 

Skill Tree

The Skill Tree lets you spend Skill Points on permanent passive upgrades. You earn 1 point every 5 levels. Open the Blood Tome and select Skill Tree to view what is available and what you can afford. Nodes shown in yellow are affordable and ready to unlock. Nodes shown in grey are either locked by a prerequisite or need more points. The tree has two main branching paths. Choosing one locks out the other, so pick carefully.

Shared (available to everyone) 

• Blood Hunger (1 pt) Every kill restores 2 bonus blood on top of the normal gain. 
• Iron Veins (1 pt) Your vampiric blood hardens permanently. Maximum health +2.

Crimson Path (aggressive, damage-focused)

Entering the Crimson Path locks out the Shadow Path.

• Crimson Pact (2 pts) All damage-dealing abilities deal 10% more damage. 
• Blood Fury (2 pts) - Requires Crimson Pact Abilities deal 20% more damage when you are below 30 blood.
• Crimson Echo (3 pts) - Requires Blood Fury Area abilities (Blood Nova, Crimson Storm, Void Collapse) hit a second time for half damage. 
• Eternal Thirst (2 pts) - Requires Crimson Pact Life Drain and Blood Tether restore 50% more blood. 
• Blood Lord (4 pts) - Requires Eternal Thirst Sanguine Burst deals triple damage when used at max blood. 

Shadow Path (mobility and stealth-focused)

Entering the Shadow Path locks out the Crimson Path. 

• Shadow Pact (2 pts) All dash and teleport range increased by 3 blocks.
• Shadow Stride (2 pts) - Requires Shadow Pact Shadow Dash and Void Step cooldowns reduced by 2 seconds.
• Wraithform (3 pts) - Requires Shadow Stride Night Shroud duration doubled to 16 seconds.
• Void Walker (3 pts) - Requires Shadow Pact Void Step no longer costs blood.
• Night Eternal (4 pts) - Requires Void Walker Permanent night vision. Darkness cannot stop you.

Pinnacle (available to all, no path requirement)

• Ascendant (5 pts) Blood Ascension cooldown reduced to 10 seconds.
• Undying (5 pts) When you would die, survive once with 10 blood restored. 5 minute cooldown.

Admin Settings

Give yourself or another player the tag fangs_admin or op to access the Admin Settings from the Blood Tome menu. Admin options include: 

• Reset a player's stats entirely
• Max out a player's level and blood
• Unlock all moves for a player
• Give Skill Points to any player

Notes

This is a beta release. Balancing, new moves, and additional Skill Tree nodes are still in progress. If you find bugs or have suggestions drop them in the comments.
