Are you ready for survival?
A survival- and redstone-friendly expansion to the Concrete block set, adding 16 colors of concrete blocks to various block families, old and new!
Version 4.0.0 is here, and we're excited about it!
Mojang has added "my" concrete stairs and slabs to Vanilla, and while we disagree with the way they were organized in the catalog (...), we're happy to see it :)
We're also happy to announce the expansion - yet again! - of the concrete block family! Please welcome 16 colors of each the following!:
- Concrete Walls
- Concrete Fences
- Concrete Fence Gates
- Concrete Doors
- Concrete Trapdoors
- Concrete Buttons
- Concrete Waypoints(!)
But what are Waypoints?
...surely you're asking yourself. Well, let me explain:
Waypoints are colored markers you can set, which place an indicator on everyone's Locator Bar to show the direction and general distance between you and the Waypoint in your world. Use them to indicate points of interest in your world, and find them again from any distance away!
You can place one per color per world, so 16 total Waypoints are available. They are relative to dimensions, so you won't see Overworld Waypoints in the Nether, and you won't be able to place the same color in different dimensions. Waypoints remember who set them, and will let you know if they've already been placed somewhere by someone else (or by you!)
If you power a Waypoint, it will be hidden from everyone's Locator Bar. Why would you want to do that? I don't know - you figure it out!
(Review Behavior Pack settings to set how much chatter Waypoints generate.)
Settings
Please enable Experimental Toggles (Beta API) for best results. There are still a few things I want to see from Mojang before I can release this to the more "stable" script API.
Future Update Plans
This will be the last non-bug-fix version until Mojang figures out how to handle the differences between fences and "skinny fences" (glass panes, bars).
Other Addons Coming Soon!
I am also working to finalize a few other stone block sets, so be on the lookout for:
- DA Simple Stone Bricks (Merry Christmas 2025)
- DA Game Rules Expansion (new in 2026!)
- DA Gradient Bricks (coming February 2027)
