​Horizons is a personal project created by me and Gemini AI as part of my journey to learn Minecraft modding. This mod does not just expand crafting possibilities for a more resource-efficient survival experience—it has now evolved into a challenging survival expansion featuring mystical celestial events.

​This mod was developed using Bridge v2 and Blockbench.

​📌 Update History Roadmap (Choose Your Version)

​If you prefer to avoid hardcore survival events or want to tailor the game to your playstyle, please select the appropriate version from the Files tab:

• ​v1.0.1 & v1.1.1 (Pure Crafting & Smelting): Perfect for players who only want custom smelting recipes, armor recycling, and convenient, resource-efficient crafting. No dangerous events or mobs included!
• ​v1.2.1 (The Blood Moon Update): Step into a more challenging survival era with the terrifying Blood Moon event occurring every 20 days.
• ​v1.3.0 [Latest] (The Eclipse Update): The complete experience, introducing the eerie Eclipse event that plunges the Overworld into absolute darkness during the day of the 50th cycle.

​🛠️ Current Features & Recipes

​🔥 Blast Furnace & Furnace Recipes:

• ​Resource Conversion: Smelt a Copper Block to get Iron Ingots.
• ​Gear Recycling: Smelt any armor pieces (except Netherite) back into their respective ingots (e.g., recycling a Copper Helmet into a Copper Ingot).
• ​Leather Production: Quickly obtain Leather by drying out Cooked Beef in a furnace.
• ​Equipment Smelting: You can now smelt Horse Armor and Nautilus Armor for resources. Works with Blast Furnaces for faster cooking speed.

​🔨 Crafting Table Recipes:

• ​Skeleton Skull: Crafted using 8 Bones.
• ​Slime Ball: A unique blend of Lime Dye, Sugar, and Honey.
• ​Shulker Shell: Combine End Stone with Chorus Fruit.
• ​Glow Ink Sac: Craftable using a regular Ink Sac and Glow Berries.
• ​Ender Pearl: Combine 8x Ender Matter and 1x Chorus Fruit.

​🧪 Brewing Stand Alchemy:

• ​Ender Matter: Brew Chorus Flowers with a Potion of Healing to create Ender Matter (New Custom Item).
• ​Ender Pearl Crafting (Legacy): Use a Healing Potion with Chorus Fruit as the ingredient. (Supports standard, splash, and lingering Healing I & II potions).

​⛺ Campfire Cooking Upgrade:

• ​The recipe to smelt Rotten Flesh into Leather is officially supported on both regular Campfires and Soul Campfires. Perfect for early-game exploration!

​🩸 EVENT LORE: THE BLOOD MOON HAS AWAKENED! (v1.2.1+)

​"As the final rays of light fade on the 20th day, a sickening crimson hue will stain the Overworld sky... That is when the darkness rises, and the Blood Moon begins its hunt upon humanity."

​When the event strikes, a thick, bloody fog will consume the environment, obliterating your render distance. The sheer malevolent pressure from the Moon will severely weaken every player on the server, inflicting crippling status effects: Slowness, Hunger, Weakness, and total Blindness during the peak of the night. Eerie, haunting ambient sounds will echo through your ears until the sun rises.

​⏳ Development Update & Notice:

• ​📜 Beta APIs Required: Just like the Blood Moon, this event is completely written in JavaScript. PLEASE make sure to enable Beta APIs (Experimental Toggles) in your world settings, otherwise the core script system will not function! 🛠️
• ​⚙️ Balanced Spawn Mechanics: Event mobs now utilize a refined relative distance logic (\sim 10 blocks away). This gives you precious seconds to react and fight back instead of being unfairly ambushed right behind your back.
• ​🛸 The "Void Storm" Incident: This update took quite a while to release. While the Eclipse event itself was finished early, I spent a lot of time trying to add a "Void Storm" event to The End dimension. Unfortunately, it was extremely buggy, so I had to throw it in the trash ("cho ra chuồng gà" 🐔💨). Dealing with that mess took a huge amount of my time, but the Eclipse is now fully ready for action!
