Heart Leveling - Bedrock Edition

Inspired by the Mite Heart System

Level up your XP, level up your max HP. This addon adds a progression system where your maximum hearts scale based on your experience level the more you grind, the tankier you get.

How it works:

Start with 2 hearts. Every 5 levels, your max HP increases by 2 hearts, up to a maximum of 10 hearts at level 20+.

A note on MITE accuracy:

The original MITE mod starts players at 3 hearts and adds 1 heart every 5 levels. Replicating this exactly on Bedrock isn't possible Bedrock lacks the /attribute command that Java Edition has, so max health can only be modified via the health_boost effect, which scales in increments of 2 hearts. This addon uses a player.json + script workaround to get as close as possible.

⚠️ Compatibility Warning:

This addon uses a custom player.json to set the base health. It will not work correctly alongside other addons that also modify player.json. When in doubt, load this addon last in your pack order.

Requirements: Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.30+, no experimental toggles needed.
