Crafting Randomizer Addon
Prepare for pure, unadulterated survival chaos.
Welcome to the ultimate test of your Minecraft survival skills. The Crafting Randomizer Addon completely overhauls the core mechanic of the game: the crafting table. Instead of logically combining items to get what you need, every single crafting recipe in the game has been thrown into a blender and entirely randomized.
Trying to craft a simple wooden pickaxe to mine your first block of stone? You might get an end crystal. Need a furnace to cook your food? You might accidentally craft a block of dirt. Every playthrough is a wildly unpredictable puzzle where your knowledge of vanilla Minecraft is entirely useless!
🌪️ Core Mechanics
-
100% Randomized Outputs: Every single shaped and shapeless crafting recipe yields a completely random item from the vanilla item registry.
-
Consistent Chaos: The randomization is hard-coded into the pack. If two logs make a diamond chestplate, it will always make a diamond chestplate for that specific generated pack. You have to discover and memorize the new chaotic recipe book as you play!
-
Complete Overhaul: With over 1,300 unique recipes modified, nothing is left untouched—from basic survival gear to complex Redstone components.
✨ Technical Features & Optimization
Unlike typical mods that try to use heavy tick-based scripts to intercept UI interactions, this addon is engineered for absolute peak performance.
-
Zero Lag & Native Performance: The addon relies purely on modifying vanilla
.jsonbehavior files. Because the game reads these as standard crafting rules, there is zero processing overhead or lag spikes when opening the crafting table or shifting items around. -
Perfect Multiplayer Stability: Engineered to run flawlessly on Realms, local multiplayer, and dedicated server environments. It’s an incredibly lightweight drop-in pack perfect for hosting crazy weekend events or chaotic temporary seasons on servers.
-
Broad Version Compatibility: Built with modern Bedrock architecture in mind (
min_engine_version: 1.21.0), ensuring it works flawlessly on the latest updates while avoiding deprecation warnings.
⚙️ How It Was Made
This pack was generated using a custom Node.js script utilizing the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm. The script recursively scans the exact vanilla Bedrock sample files, extracts every single resulting item from the recipes folder, shuffles them like a massive deck of 1,371 cards, and dynamically generates a fresh, error-free Behavior Pack.
